The jazz music filled the hallways. She walked ahead, her heels clicking against the marble floor, she fixed her black wide-brimmed hat then ran a hand from her chest to her stomach, flattening the front of the black dress she's wearing.

She stopped in front of a door guarded heavily by four guards, remaining silent.

The guards glanced at each other, shrugging before one tall guard approached her "Do you have any invitation? Were you ordered for entertainment?"

She slowly looked up, showing her masked face, only showing her dark golden eyes. She glanced at them then sighed, swiftly pulling the blades from her back. Before the guards could react, she quickly struck the two in front with her blades then pushed them towards the other two, knocking them towards the door with great strength, busting it open.

The commotion outside alarmed the people inside the room, immediately rushing to take cover.

Serena casually picked up her blades from the men's body, splattering blood all over the floor. She looked around, spinning the blade in her hand while scanning the room. There were three men, one woman, and a frightened little girl inside.

She walked towards them, earning several frightened protesting and screaming. It hurt her ears, making her more irritated than she already is.

She stopped in front of the men, pointing her blade at the blonde one. She stepped hard on his knee, making sure he won't be able to escape.

"What do you want?! Money?!" the man yelled, pulling out a wallet from his pocket, throwing it towards Serena "Leave me alone!"

She sighed then spoke "I'll be taking your lives if you don't mind." she tilts her head "Try not to resist."

She crushed his knee then stabbed him in the forehead, his body immediately dropping to the floor with a low pained grunt. She turned to the remaining people inside, pulling her blade from the man's forehead "Now, who wants to go next?"

It was another corrupt man and his business, Serena doesn't know why she needs to get involved in this. Dreykov doesn't give any more interesting tasks since she quit training any new child that would be taken.

Well, she was done with the taking business anyway.

Ever since that day, she cursed herself not to take any child's happiness from them anymore.

Serena pulled her bloody blade from the man's eye, she glanced at the woman holding the little girl tightly in the corner of the room. She pulled a chair to a table near them and sat, pouring herself a drink, settling down her weapons.

"You're involved in your husband's business. You go with him everywhere he goes, gambling, killing employees, fancy parties..." she trailed off, glancing at them "How old is your little girl?" she asked

"S-Seven..." the woman replied moments later

"Does she go to school?"

"No, my husband doesn't-"

"Does she have any friends?"

"Like what I said-" the woman screamed upon seeing Serena pick up one of her blades "Please take anything! Just don't kill me! Please!"

Serena sighed, turning away to take off her mask and drink. Stupid mask. Yelena insisted she wears something to cover her face for protection whenever she's out doing tasks. The police these days are getting better and better because of the advanced technology. Even though she knew she'll be able to escape from their hands no matter what, she doesn't want to get involved with the Avengers even though her sister is a part of them.
