Note:
Elena Hokka, 10-years-old. Daughter of Joel Hokka.

Elena was walking home from school. The day had been a little rough. She was always alone in school, she hadn't found her place in this world yet. The girl just simply didn't fit in. She was different from the others. No matter where, no matter what she did, Elena never felt like she was a part of the group. She had started to think she wasn't enough for the other girls her age. They were cooler, smarter and better. She was just Elena. Lonely and boring Elena.

Of course she was proud to be the daughter of Joel. She just didn't make it obvious to others. She didn't want fake friends. That's why nobody in their school knew she was related to him. Well, if the teachers didn't count. All the other pupils thought she was weird, she wasn't one of them. Elena hadn't told anybody about it, though. She didn't want her dad to worry about it. Sometimes Joel wondered why he never saw any of her friends, but she always managed to brush it off with some ridiculous excuse.

Elena never knew her mother. At this point she didn't even bother to miss her. Besides, if having no mom meant hanging out with Joel's friends, she didn't mind. Maybe the girl didn't have friends, but at least she had the band. They were her friends, they were her family. Joonas was the cool uncle, who would always spoil her. Olli, on the other hand, was that uncle, who was always easy to talk with. But if she had any trouble, she'd usually turn to Tommi. Elena loved to spend time with Niko, who'd let her braid his hair. She also liked his girlfriend, Minna. Then there was Aleksi, the one who would give her rides to school all the time. And of course, last but not least, her dad. At first it was a little hard for him to raise a kid, but slowly it got easier. Luckily she wasn't that much of a troublemaker.

She got home and took out her key. The door opened and the kid got inside. She took off her shoes and jacket, then walked further into the house. Her dad wasn't there for some reason. She tried to call him, but he didn't pick up. Elena was a little scared, because Joel hadn't told her he wouldn't be home. Luckily she then heard some noise from behind the door. Not long after she was met by her dad's surprised face.

"Oh, you walked quickly. I didn't think you'd already be here. Sorry, Iwas driving and I couldn't answer the call." He explained and kneeled to hug his daughter.

"It's alright. I just got here. But where were you?" She then asked.

"I had to go buy something. Are you okay? You seem a bit down." The tall blonde worried.

"Yeah, just tired." Elena assured.

"Okay. But hey, you remember Tommi and Olli are coming here, right?" He reminded, making the smaller girl nod. Joel had to leave for some work stuff, so Tommi and Olli would spend the day with her. She was used to it since her dad was a rockstar and had all kinds of interviews and stuff. But she didn't mind it. It was nice to have the band members around.

Soon she was left alone in the apartment as her dad left. Now she was waiting for the two other men to show up. The girl was sitting on the couch and doing her homework. School was always somehow hard for her. She also had dyslexia, which made it even more complicated. Sometimes her dad would read for her and help her with homework. In her opinion, Joel was the best dad one could ever hope for. Sometimes he would doubt himself as a father, but Elena made sure he knew how much she loved him. There was a knock on the door. She jumped up and ran to open the door.

"Oh, there she is! My favorite Hokka!" Olli said as the door was opened. He then walked in and ruffled her hair on the way.

"Hi there, little one." Tommi greeted her with a warm smile.

Not long after, they were all sitting in their living room. She was still trying to do her homework on the couch, but she was having some problems with math. It wasn't exactly her cup of tea. Since she was still in fourth grade, her dad was usually able to help her. But oh god, what's going to happen if she decides to go to highschool... Joel went to highschool too, but it was just because of music stuff. He wasn't good at math either. Slowly but surely, she was running out of patience. She couldn't stop the weary sigh from leaving her lips.

"What is it?" Tommi asked while Olli was doing something in the kitchen.

"Who invented math?" Elena groaned and fell back on the couch, now staring at the ceiling. Her comment made the drummer chuckle slightly.

"That's a good question. Do you need some help with those?" He asked, referring to her homework. She didn't say anything, just nodded. Tommi then got closer to her and her books to take a look at them.

It took quite a time, but eventually they were done with the homework. She was lucky she wasn't alone. Then she'd be doing math until the next morning, bye bye beauty sleep. Now she was eating in the kitchen, the men were probably watching TV. She was scrolling through her phone. When she was checking her instagram, she saw some of her classmates' pictures. There were four of them. They were posing in front of some kind of a statue. She sighed lightly. Why did she have to be the lone wolf?

"So, kid. How's school?" Olli asked as they were all in the living room again.

"It's... Fine." She managed to say. She didn't like to go to school. Why would she have liked it? She was all alone and she didn't like to study.

"You sure?" Tommi added, noticing how she got a little serious. She didn't answer anymore, she didn't know what to say.

"What's wrong? Are you being bullied or something?" Olli asked, putting away his phone to focus on her.

"No. It's nothing like that." She quickly explained.

"It's just that... Why doesn't anybody like me?" Elena asked with a sad tone, making Tommi and Olli look at each other in confusion.

"What do you mean? Why wouldn't they like you?" The drummer questioned.

"I don't know. I guess I'm just so different. I don't fit in." She explained, turning her gaze on the floor.

"No, don't think like that kiddo. You just haven't found the right people in your life yet." The bassist convinced, the drummer just nodded his head.

"I just wish I could be like the cool kids. Because they always seem to fit in, no matter what." The girl sighed.

"What? You're literally the coolest kid I've ever met! Look at you. Can you guess why you "don't fit in"?" The taller man asked, making Elena shrug.

"Because you're better. You're the best." He continued, making a slight smile appear on her face.

"And think about it. You're THE daughter of THE Joel Hokka! How cool is that?" Olli cheered her up. A small giggle left her lips. She definitely was lucky to have them here, lucky to have them in her life.

"But guess what." She started, making the two men look at her expectantly.

"I also have the coolest uncles." She then added and snuggled closer to Olli.

"Indeed." The shorter man chuckled, looking at the girl and hugging her.

"What? He gets a hug but I don't?" Tommi questioned pouting. Elena giggled again and let go of Olli. Then she crawled to the other man and hugged him tightly.

"Much better."
