Sarina's P.O.V.
"A party?!" I asked completely baffled.
"Judging by your reaction, I can tell you weren't aware of this," she says simply cautiously eyeing me.
"Clearly!" I say raising my voice, a sense of empedending doom starts to creep down my spine. I take a breath trying to recompose myself, "If you'll excuse me I need to have a word with my mates, you wouldn't happen to know where they are would you?" I ask gritting my teeth.
"Oh I do believe they are in a meeting with their advisors", she responds a small smirk playing on her face as if she was aware of the hell I was going to raise.
"Great, I'll be off then", I say before turning and stomping off in a direction, hopefully bringing me closer to the meeting room they were currently in.
After wandering down countless corridors, my anger was only increasing. I was lost, but I had hell to raise. But it seemed like my luck was turning around because out of the corner of my eye I found,"Roger!" I shout down the hallway.
He promptly turns and straightens to face me, I slightly jog to catch up to him, when I finally do I'm met with a disapproving glare.
"What?" I ask innocently not knowing what I had done to incurre his disapproval.
"A proper Lady must never run to meet someone, you must go to them grasiously and elegantly. Not to mention you are to be Queen everyone will simply come to you", he stated matter of factly.
"Sorry" I mumble.
"Your majesty is there something you needed?" He asked sounding rather annoyed.
"Oh yeah, where are Enderson and Garreth?" I ask my anger bubbling to the surface. And only increasing at the attitude Roger had suddenly had.
"They are in the meeting room, I'm actually on my way back there now. Shall I escort you?" He asks curiosity gleaming in his eyes.
"You may" I say, rather spitefully if I say so myself.
An awkward silence fills the space between us as we walk down a few more hallways, passing several servants clearly preparing for something big.
Curiosity picked at me, I wondered if Roger knew what they were planning or if he knew about the party in the first place.
"Hey Roger...."
"Yes your highness?" He asks keeping his eyes trained on the hallway and a neutral expression dawning his face.
"What are the servants preparing?" I ask watching him closely to gauge his reaction.
He slightly falters in his step, "I don't know what you're talking about" he denies.
"Are you sure? You're clearly high up so surely you must know" I pester, remembering what Stephanie said about clearance and knowledge going hand in hand in the palace.
"Sarina don't make me loose my job." He slightly pleads.
"Why would you loose your job over this?" I ask my curiosity only growing more.
We stop at a set of doors, and Roger takes a deep breath in before responding to my question."The Kings wish for it to be a surprise-"
"Well they are about to learn that I hate surprises" I ground out before pushing the set of doors open and walk straight into a meeting.
The second I walk in I noticed Garreth and Enderson who were sitting at the head of the table stood up with concern plastered all over their faces.
"What's wrong?" Garreth asked walking over towards me.
