Sarina's P.O.V.
Beep
Beep
Beep
"Ugh, it's that damned beeping again" I grumble out.
I poke open one of my eyes and glance around the room, at least what I can see from this angle, I'm met with, what I now know to be a hospital room. Oddly enough the same one I woke up in, just weeks ago.
"They must've brought me here" I say to myself. I begin to sit up in the bed a sharp pain in my stomach making me hesitant. But I just continue on not really caring about the pain, when I get a good look at the room I notice it's dim, the room is dim, the only light source coming from a small lamp on the other side of the room.
I glance out the window to my right, it's completely dark. The street lights the only thing illuminating the capital. Well that and the beautiful starry night sky.
It's peaceful.
But,
It's odd.
I'm all alone, yet knowing those two they wouldn't have left me alone. At least not if they thought there was something wrong with me, right?
I ask myself starting to doubt my hold on this reality, I continue to peer out of the window,
Knock
Knock
KnockI jerk my head in the direction of the door, it's late at night who could possibly be knocking at this time of night?
I hesitantly say a shaky,"Come in".
And in strolls the Doctor, Dr. Sinclair looking rather smug might I add. I glower in her direction, the feeling of unease that I got the first time we met returning at full force. But I wouldn't allow her to see any amount of my weakness. A Queen must always keep her head held high, or her crown may fall.
I'm taking your advice Elizabeth, I'll be strong...
"Good to see you awake your majesty" Dr. Sinclair states while coming over closer to the bed.
"Somehow I seriously doubt that" I quip back. I don't get a response from her, she just stares with the biggest grin I've ever seen on someone's face.
Fine. I guess I'll do all the talking, "Who are you, really?" I ask.
"Lorraine Sinclair, obviously" she scoffs with a roll of her eyes. The crazy bubbly persona from earlier long gone, now this, this was the real person hiding beneath the mask.
"Fine Lorraine, new question why do you seem so familiar?" I ask honestly confused.
"Well you have been around my niece for quite awhile, and I get told quite often how similar we look" she explains.
"Victoria." I ground out, not a question but a statement.
Knowing that I could clearly see all there similar features, same nose, same eyes and same spiteful look in there eyes directed at me.
"Oh wow, your majesty you caught onto that quicker than I thought you would. I was worried I was going to have to get some crayons and draw it out for you" she mocks.
"Explain." I demand.
"Victoria is my niece and the Duke is my older brother." She says simply.
I want to ask her more questions, but before I'm able to she stops me.
"Now now it's my turn to ask the questions here"
"Alright" I say hesitantly.
She leans down to the point we are eye to eye, "Are you prepared for the hell that is about to rain down upon you?" Then another horrific grin makes its way across her face before she straightens and heads towards the doo.
