__________________________________Last night, walking into Henry's living room, I could smell something nice coming from the kitchen and dinner area.
It was Henry.
Looking at him from were I stood, I could tell he wasn't happy judging from the frown on his face. When he finally noticed I was standing at the entrance to the dinner room, he placed the last ceramic plate he was holding on the table and let out a small smile.
"You must be hungry," Henry approached me. I couldn't help but stare at him. I could tell he knew something was wrong but was trying hard not to show it. It wasn't like I wanted to tell him what went down.
His long masculine fingers wrapped around my wrist and tucked me closer towards him, as he led me to the dinner room. Getting there, he pulled a chair forward and helped me sat down. If I said I wasn't surprised by his gesture, then I was lying. Once I felt a bit relaxed, Henry sat on his usual chair. He stretched out his hands, reaching for the bowls and started revealing each content.
"I had to call my sister on the phone to help me prepare this." He revealed the first bowl which contained jollof rice with every good ingredients in it. I could see the green beans and carrot in it, I could also see how he did the liberty to slice the onions into ring shapes. Another bowl was filled with turkey which looked a little bit burnt and dried, but still edible... I think.
"D-dorcas?" I was still confused by his actions and why Dorcas would help him with this.
"No, my immediate elder sister, Olamide." Henry moved from his chair and sat at the one by my right. He placed his chin on his palm which was supported by his elbow resting on the table. "Don't worry, she was really happy to help."
I gave a closed lip smile and grasp a spoonful of rice. "It's really nice, sir. Aren't you going to eat?"
Henry shook his head, "It's all yours." There was no way I could finish all this by myself, was what I wanted to say. "Do you have anything to say to me, Hope?"
I blinked at his question then shook my head. "Anything at all?"
I don't know why he kept asking me these questions but I still felt it was best I went with a no. He finally let it go and just watched me eat. Sometimes, putting water in my glass cup whenever I belch or cough a little.
Today, we were on set. Henry and Yemi was getting groomed to act their last scene while Jackson and Baby were getting info on where to stand for their parts.
I sat at a secluded place filled with pedals. No one paid attention to me which was understandable, judging that I wasn't as important as Henry and Yemi. Soon I felt the need to pee and quickly got up to move to the toilet at the very back. Once I was done peeing and washing my hands, I decided to head out but Yemi stepped in.
I gave a slight bow and moved to the left to give her some space so she could walk through, but she blocked me. I let out a small sigh and moved to the right but she blocked my path again.
"Do you by chance need anything ma'am?" I asked in a deep voice but Yemi gave a disgusting scoff.
"Can you cut the act?" She snorted in disgust, staring at me from head to toe. "Cherry."
My mouth slightly fell open. "Sorry?"
"I said cut the act!" Yemi snapped angrily, pulling my boy wig in a flash and tossing it to God knows where. "You fraud that's trying to steal my boyfriend!"
