"Mira! Where have you been? The whole kingdom has been looking for you!" Mira laughed. "Sorry, I got stuck in a trap, but he saved me," she said pointing to the Prince. The Prince slowly realized the fairy speaking to Mira had a green jeweled crown on top of her head. The three sat in silence for what seemed like centuries until the jewel-crowned fairy interrupted it. "What's your name?" she asked. The Prince replied with smoothness in his voice, "Jaron. Prince Jaron." The fairy smiled. "I'm Verda, the Ivy Princess. I am Mira's older sister. Welcome to our kingdom."
The Prince came back to the Ivy Kingdom more and more frequently as the days passed. The fairies were always happy to see him. He became really close to the fairies especially Verda and Mira and one day decided he would move into their kingdom. The fairies were so thrilled with the new addition to their kingdom that they held a festival to celebrate. The Prince couldn't leave his beloved horse so he brought him along too and he lived in peace with the fairies for years.
The Prince ended up falling in love with the beautiful Princess Verda and she told him everything. She told him about the Ivy Kingdom and how it came about. She told him about about the constellations in the sky. She told him about the magical creatures that lived throughout the forest and everything he needed to know about the nature. She even taught him how to fish. The Prince had completely forgotten his past and didn't worry about anyone ever coming to search for him. "I do feel badly, though." He told Verda. "I left my kingdom when war could be coming at anytime." Verda sighed, wrapping her hand in his as they sat on a low wall of the castle. "It takes a lot a courage to stand up for others, but even more courage to stand up for yourself." The Prince smiled while the princess leaned on his shoulder. The Prince wrapped his arm around her. "You always know just what to say."
