I'll start by introducing myself. The drawing above is me! You already know my profile picture. I drew myself in danganronpa art style.
But of course... the portrait is exaggerated to look more "cuter" than the person behind the screen, BUT SHHH! Not another peep!
It captures my "essence" close enough. My hair is styled the same way, I have glasses, and I actually wear a blue headwrap. You get the point. I'm never doing a face reveal, so this is the closest thing you're going to get.
So uhh, what else should I say. I'll just say a random fact about me. Nothing too crazy.
My username "xNonentity" has a meaning behind it. "Nonentity" is an actual word in the English dictionary. According to the definition:
Nonentity: (NOUN) A person or thing with no special or interesting qualities; an unimportant person or thing.
Wait hold up.
You're probably wondering. Why would you name yourself after that??? That doesn't sound good at all!
To explain simply, it's because as readers, we don't think about the author behind the story. (Readers only care about the plot, story, characters, etc...) So that's why decided to call myself a "nonentity" (a person that's unimportant). But the irony is that, without the author, there is no story. So in actually reality, the author is equally important.
...Does that make sense?
That's the best way I can explain it. And if you can't tell from my writing style, I like to add irony for the laughs. (I mean, how many times have I brought up Rantaro's blunt force trauma with him being CLUELESS about it? Poor boy) 😭
But there's also a second reason. "Nonentity" sounds familiar to my real-life nickname my family calls me. My nickname starts with "Non" so that was a major deciding factor when choosing my username. It makes it more "personal" in a sense.
