So it's January 18, 2023, and it's actually Daisuke Ayumu B-Day!!! 🍰🎉 if you don't know who's Daisuke, he's one of my OC's, the oldest brother of Miss Flower and the annoying journalist. And what better way to celebrate is to post my submissions of those who attempted to draw him for fun!

Eeeep! This was first submission I received. I really loved how you incorporated the cigarette and made him look like he hates...life. Lol. I like his spiky hair and trench coat. I think his eyes can be sharper and his face can be longer, but overall pretty good. You captured his essence more than I thought you would! Well done! . . .

According to the artist, he said he took some inspiration from Neiki Yomiri from Danganronpa Another. (Who is also a journalist, with similar backstory to the Ayumu's) 😉 With the landyard and notebook around his neck. I also like the addition of the watch. As a journalist, they are always about deadlines and never missing their busy schedules! So I like the addition.

Here's some of the facial expressions close up. His hair isn't as spiky as i envisioned, but hey, this could be one of his many hairstyle he had once. Overall I really love this design! He looks manly and serious, which is the vibe we are going for. Good job, and thanks for the HARD WORK you put into this! I can imagine how much you had to erase and re-draw to get a feature right, Traditional drawing is not easy!!!

Daisuke is so cuteeee here!!! The artist went towards a more youthful approach, (as it's her art style) so he could look more like a 30 year old man here, but overall I love it! If we go back in time this was like him in his early 20s. I love the color pallets she went for. It's vibrant, but not too vibrant. I love the hair, the outfit, and I like the jawline of Daisuke here. Pretty good! . . . So yeah, that's pretty much it! I love all your submissions. 😍 I'm glad you all decided to stay true to your individual art styles, this what makes this fun! Obviously, Daisuke's finalized design is still in the works. But thanks to these, I have a better visual of what I'm going for.
