(Lyircs to song: Body By Mother Mother)
(If yall haven't seen the song, make sure to watch it to know Y'KNOW, what you're singing lol, (also also, in my opinion it's a good song.) ALSO ALSO, you play the violin just to let you know.)
Muzan slowly walked back into the house, and since it was still total darkness outside, Muzan was surprised to hear the sound of a violin playing sharply fast music as you turned a corner and saw you standing in front of a window, playing it. You were wearing a haori, a haori with golden specks and golden slash marks on the haori, with a small rope connected to the front. Not noticing Muzan, you started to say the lyrics out loud while playing your violin:
"Take my eyes, take them aside,"
"Take my face, and desecrate,"
"My arms and legs, they get IN THE WAY,"
"And Take my hands, they'll understand,"
"Take my heart, PULL IT APART,"
"And take my brain, or what remains and throw it all away. . ."
Muzan could hear small amounts of anger being built up in your voice as your face started to tear up. Muzan pulled off his hat and listened to you silently.
"AND THROW IT ALL AWAY,"
"Cos' I've. . .Grown tired. . . Of this body. . .A cumbersome and heavy body. . ."
Your tears started to slowly pour from your face as you stepped off-key, and stopped playing the violin, and quickly turned around and saw Muzan. You stopped your crying and sprinted over to your room where you locked the door and sat down, putting away your violin.
"W-wait, Y/N------ I didn't know you could play a violin." Muzan's voice came from the other side as you hid your violin and sat there in silence.
". . ."
"I learned to play a violin when my parents went abroad." You said quietly, and stood up and opened the door.
"Is that where your parents are?"
You nodded, sitting down as Muzan hopped down with you with Stormy. Muzan looked at you with his same stern face as you looked down at the ground, being silent for several minutes. You heard shuffling sounds, and you looked up to see Stormy playing with piles of papers on your library shelf as some went to the ground. One flew down in front of both you and Muzan, and you cringed.
You tried to snatch the paper, but Muzan was too fast for you, and he already had the paper in his hand by the time you were on the floor.
"DON'T READ THAT-"
"'5:30-7:00 P.M, : Witness Teenagers' greatest talents at the local Talent show! Tickets on sale for 14-20$! Grand prize is 30,000$!'" Muzan read the poster in a tone. You buried your face in your knees, flustered that Muzan realized why you were playing the violin.
"Are you. . .Performing?" Muzan raised an eyebrow.
"Uhm. . .Y-yeah." You mumbled.
Muzan looked back at the poster and chuckled. "With a talent like yours, you're sure to get into the semi-finals at least. Why must you be afraid to express your talent?"
"There are loads of other violin players that will be there. My talent is nothing compared to some other people's."
"Just because other people play the violin doesn't mean that they're better than you. If you practice, then you can succeed. It takes me sometimes years to strategize a plan to kill someone. The thing is, Humans have emotion. And emotion is just like strings. If you play with their emotional strings, they'll play nicely like a guitar, and it'll work out in your favor. Try and do something unique that no judge will think of. Never let them know your next move."
You smiled at Muzan's words as he put his hat back on his hat and pulled from behind him your violin, causing you to flinch.
"Why don't you play more? I'd like to hear more, if that's not a problem." He suggested, "Also, I'd like to know why you're dressed up like that."
You flinched again and looked down to realize you had your outfit on. "O-oh. This is an outfit I usually wear when I'm playing the violin. I don't know what to wear to the talent show, though." You murmured, taking the violin from Muzan's hands as you rested it on your shoulder.
"Ah, you can always borrow mine. Black goes nicely on you." Muzan complimented you as you turned your head in flattery.
And that, is how the Demon Lord helped you practice for a talent show.
The next song you decided to play to him was the song called, 'Villain' (Very ironic for this scene lol.)
You started to sing while playing a violin version of the song, and the chorus soon began:
"Time to roll the dice!"
"You know I'm the type,"
"Time to risk my life!"
"Not afraid to die!"
"Type to make you cry!"
"Type to put a price!"
"All up in your head, do just what I said!"
You ended the song as Muzan cheerfully clapped, smiling a bit. "That song is really nice. Very different to what humans play in my timeline."
You smiled at his response, before your alarm clock in your room jolted you as you accidently dropped your violin.
"Oops- I forgot to turn my alarm clock off! I have to get ready for school!" You fretted as you put away your violin and got on your jacket and backpack.
Soon, you were out the door. Muzan watched you go out to your bus stop as he turned around, and his eyes softly went gentle. He knew humans were greedy when it came to money. But Y/N wasn't greedy, it was impossible. So what could they need the money for?
Muzan was about to walk to the living room and he stepped on a framed picture. He picked it up to see a picture of Y/N, with a smaller child and two adults in the background, all smiling. The picture frame was cracked, but Muzan didn't crack it. He turned it over and it read 6/23/19. He then looked up, and once again, saw the black cat outside the window sitting on a cat, staring at him. Muzan backed away slowly, and irritation gnawed at him. What did this animal need?! He blinked once, and it was gone once again. This world didn't have any powers, but cats can't teleport. Muzan just wondered what had happened to your family.
