(OLD) A MIDFUL JOURNEY

"This just in, a Nixel tornado dubbed the 'Nixnado' is heading away from Mixopolis... straight towards Mixel land," announces Screeno from the wooden makeshift TV. Venus turns off the tv and growls, itching for a fight.
"Nixnado make for good fight," she grumbled.
"W-well... even though you usually train with Dirth, he's at least getting groceries in Muncholand," Thorny says brightly, hoping to cheer Venus up. "We'll finally have more i-iceberg lettuce and coconapples to eat."
"Yeah. You right," Venus says. She grabs Thorny with her vine arms and hugs her tight.

This happy moment of silence is interrupted by a hissing roar, heard from aboveground. Venus moves the moss-covered rock from her dirt-walled home to investigate. Thorny follows, climbing the ladder with her roots. On the other vine, Thorny leaves her pot to dig through the dirt to the top.
They get to the top and see a large Nixel rummaging through their garbage.
"What the schnixel is they doing!?," Venus growls in a harsh whisper, "That for fertilizer!"

"Hey MURPMEAT!," Venus erupts towards the towering muscular mass of nixing power.
The Nixel lumbers over and slowly smashes it's fists into the ground, missing the ever-quicker Venus. Venus easily defeats the Muscle Nixel with a single bite.
"That be... not fun fight," Venus grumbles. However, the Muscle Nixel has a trick up it's hypothetical sleeve. Another Muscle Nixel slams down to the ground and they both mix using a negative cubit. Venus is easily outplayed by this heaping, 2-headed, speedy monstrosity.

Thorny stumbles in with a Plantor cubit which transforms into a centrifuge, mushing up Venus and Thorny into a nice molten salad which mixes them into a slobbering powerhouse, hungry for action. The muscle mix rockets forward to attack but Venus and Thorny goes underground, dodging the attack. The heaping mass doesn't stop right away and slams into a tree. Then vines wrap around the abomination's ankles and throws them out of Plantor Woods. Venus and Thorny de-mix and high-vine.
"What me miss?," Dirth asks having gotten back from the grocery store, "You ready for train-train?"
Venus immediately falls asleep, beat from the battle. Thorny snuggles up and snoozes with her. Dirth brings the groceries underground and begins watching TV.
