A week after Alex's death, Laura was still extremely mad about Elijah killing Alex so she hasn't been in the same room as him or done so much since utter a word to him for a week.
As Laura walked into the kitchen to make herself some tea she was met with Elijah and a sad expression on his face so she quickly turned around and left the room, but a gush of wind suddenly hit and Elijah was standing in front of her looking as confused as ever
"Ray are you angry with me" asked Elijah in a confused manner
"No I'm not" huffed Laura as she walked away
"Is this about me killing that witch, it is about the witch is it not it Ray" stated Elijah as he stopped Laura in her tracks
"of course its about the damn witch you knew I wanted to kill her but you went ahead and killed her anyway" shouted Laura in pure rage
"I'm deeply sorry Ray but its not something to be angry with me for" voiced Elijah softly
"Elijah you dont understand she tortured me for hours and I was helpless she vervained my skin and I almost died to me it is a big deal and I wanted to kill her to get back at her for using me and leaving a idea of what I can do" said Laura almost feeling hopeless like she was when the witch used her
"but we are family always and forever" stated Elijah
"no you all bought into always and forever I'm just kol's wife if you abandon me I need to make it know that I'm not a helpless person without the mikaelsons" replied Laura feeling like she was on the verge of tears
"no Ray you are family and no thought otherwise should even enter your head, I give you my word we are family and we are never leaving you" voiced Elijah as he pulled Laura into a hug

Hours later
Laura was sitting peacefully reading a book in the lounge area tea in hand when Kol decided to barge in and voice
"Come on darling pack your bags"
"and why should I kol" asked Laura
"We are leaving"
"and where is our destination going to be" asked Laura once again wanting to pack accordingly
"I'll leave that as a surprise"
"come on I need to pack accordingly" begged Laura
"We are going to Paris"
"your kidding right" voiced Laura in excitement
"no I'm not come on go pack we dont have much time"
"Kol you barely know any French, how are supposed to communicate with anyone there"
"I dont need to you are fluent in French aren't your darling"
"I am but"
"no buts the jet is leaving in 2 hours we will be fine"
"alright then, we are going to Paris" voiced Laura excitingly

I'm so sorry for the short chapter I have no idea how to complete it but I thought it would be nice for Kol and Laura to take a break from the mikaelson drama for a while if you have an idea please comment it
