"Where is the room of Bridgette Santos?"
Sam followed Amelia nang pumunta ito sa nurse's station. Bahagya itong naka-lean sa counter ng nurse's station kaya naman kitang kita niya ang pwet nito.
She couldn't help but look away. Ramdam niya ang init sa pisngi niya dahil sa nakikita. Naka-tuck in kasi ito. Bigla tuloy sumagi sa isip niya na nahuli siya nito noong nakaraang araw. But she couldn't help herself. Ang ganda kasi talaga ng pwet nito. It was round and perky. Parang ang lambot hawakan.
Plus, the move Amelia was making on her. Hindi niya alam kung ano ang pumasok sa isip nito para gawin iyon. She felt insulted sa ginawa nito pero hindi niya din maiwasang ma-turn on sa ginawa nito noong nakaraan. In which she should be gross out dahil babae ito?
It's not as if Amelia has a thing down there that stands up in attention.
"But she can offer you something else."
Cha lifted her eyebrows up and down.
Nagkita sila ng kaibigan niya noong hapon nang sabihin niya dito ang problema niya sa boss niya. She just can't keep it to herself any longer. Hindi niya alam kung anong laro ang ginagawa ng boss niya. But she knew that Amelia was trying to seduce her. Samantalang may asawa ito at alam naman nitong kerida siya ng mister nito.
"But I don't get it, Cha. I'm not a man. I couldn't offer her what Christian could. At isa pa, why would she want me? Inuulit ko. Hindi ako lalake."
Sam gulped the beer she was holding.
"Well. Malay mo, Amelia is Bi and she wants to try something new. Kasi kung ako din. I will not go for Christian Montenegro, that guy is a womanizer. Kung may palda siguro ang poste. He will try to bed it."
Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Sam sa sinabi ng kaibigan. Muntik na din niyang maibuga ang beer na iniinom niya.
"Cha..."
"What? It's true. Sayang si Amelia sa asawa niya. That man is blind as a mole. Amelia is a catch. Siraulo lang ang lalakeng papakawalan ang isang Amelia Vasquez Montenegro."
Umiling lang si Sam. "You don't know why Christian hates his wife."
"But you don't know either."
Tinitigan ni Sam ang hawak hawak niyang beer. She knew exactly what Christian hates about Amelia.
Amelia got a miscarriage because she's so workaholic.
"Room 403, mam." The nurse smiled at Amelia.
"Thanks." Hindi na ulit tinapunan ng tingin ni Amelia ang nurse. Then Amelia proceeded to walk towards the hallway looking at the room number they were passing by.
Amelia was walking with a bounce na ikinailing na lang ni Sam. This is the first time her boss bounce back in happiness. Akala niya ay cheeseburger lang ang nakakapag pangiti dito.
Sam just followed behind Amelia. Her hands are inside the pocket of her slacks.
"Sam! Bilisan mo." Nilingon siya nito pero agad din namang tumingin sa kwarto na tinapatan nito. It must have been room 403.
"Boss, mauna ka na. I'll follow you."
Yun na lang ang sinabi niya dito. Amelia nodded at her smiling and went inside the room. Narinig niya agad ang tili nito pagkapasok niya sa kwarto ng dati nitong secretary.
She heard Amelia's happy cooing and making baby noises.
Agad na napatingin sa pagpasok niya ang mag asawa. Bridgette smiled at her then mouthed a word. Ngumiti naman ang asawa nito.
