They get out of the car and are welcomed by the crowd. Jennifer smiles at everyone, but even though she's enjoying this, she wants for it to be over so she can go home with her prince.

Colin's arm remains around Jen's waist as they walk to their table. He waves and smiles at people, too. But all he is really focused on is Jen. He's having a great time, no doubt. But like Jennifer, he also can't wait to go home and spend time with his wife. His wife...he smiles at the thought and kisses her forehead.

She looks up to him and gives a smile just for him. Everyone congratulates them until they reach their table and take a seat. The moment they do, people start clinking their glasses lightly with their fork, some clap and others cheer, wanting them to kiss.

Well there's an excuse... Jennifer turns to Colin, her eyes sparkle with her excitement of today. She takes a deep breath and leans forward, he meets her halfway there, and their lips touch. He smiles against her lips as he kisses her. The cheers get louder and whistles emerge. "I do believe we pleased the crowd," he whispers.

"Mhm," she nods, not separating herself from him. "I'll wait my turn to be pleased..." she blushes and turns back to the crowd.

Colin chuckles and kisses her cheek. While they wait for dinner to come, several people come over to their table to talk to them a bit and congratulate them for like the hundredth time.

Dinner doesn't take too long, but it's long enough that when it's time for them to dance, Jen and Colin can't wait to be in each other's arms. Forget taking turns with the guests, Colin isn't letting go of her tonight, and she's more than happy in his arms.

Colin escorts Jen to the outdoors dance floor; the music starts just as he pulls her tight against him. The dance floor is empty, allow for the newly wedded couple in the middle. The first dance of the night would only be shared by them. No one else. Colin looks into her eyes lovingly, wondering how he got so lucky...how he didn't see that all this could happen when they first met.

Jen locks her eyes with his and moves back and forth as they dance slowly. Her arms are around his neck, his are at her waist. She leans closer and places her head on his shoulder, nothing could be better. Colin smiles and kisses the top of her head. "I love you so much." he whispers in her ear as they dance.

"I love you," she whispers back. "We're married. Why weren't we before?"

"Because I was stupid," he responds.

"So was I," she smiles. "But shush, dance with me."

Colin just smiles again, genuinely happy and convinced that nothing would ruin tonight. Jen closes her eyes and replaces her head on his shoulder. After a moment, she looks up, smiles and kisses him like there's no one watching-because she has forgotten they were in public, it was only Colin and herself in that moment. Colin pulls her closely; it was just the two of them. Time stopped.

Once they finally pull apart, at the end of the song, Jennifer looks around having remembered where they were. No one's watching them, she's glad they've seemed to have allowed them the limited privacy they could.

The next song starts and the dance floor begins to fill up. Colin and Jen are still wrapped in each other's arms in the middle of the floor. Colin steps back so he can look at Jen in her dress again, though the night is dimly lit. He smiles and looks back into her eyes, "Who chose the dress?"
