Me and carl were walking down the streets of Alexandria our "sanctuary". We had just started dating since carl finally grew some balls and asked me out before Ron did. I was pretty shocked when he asked , because I've had feelings for carl since we were on the farm , and he never acknowledged me.

"Look who is that" carl asked me in curiosity

"Umm idk carl , but we don't need to worry about it , because if we go beyond this point it could get us in big trouble , so please don't do anything." I told carl.

Carl told me that his dad needed him to go on a run so we stopped our walk and headed to our houses. I lived with Daryl because he was my uncle , but he was more a father figure to me. Carl obviously lived with his dad rick. Daryl didn't approve of me and carl dating he said that me and carl needed to stay as far apart as we could.

"Daryl I'm home" I yelled throughout the house looking for him. I got no response so that means either he is on a run or wondering around Alexandria.

On the kitchen counter I saw Carl's pistol so I thought maybe I could go over to Carl's and give him his gun for his run.

I walked out of my house and across the street to Carl's. I knocked on the door , and was greeted by rick.

"Hey rick , I just wanted to give Carl's gun back so he can have a weapon when you guys go on a run" I said

"Y/n Carl's not going on a run its just me Glenn and daryl" rick said confused

"Oh well have you seen him then?" I asked curiously

"Umm no , but if I see him I'll send him your way" rick said with a light smile shutting the door.

I thought to myself were would carl go? Why would he lie to me.

Carl's p.o.v

I hated lying to u/n ,but I had to know who was hopping the walls of Alexandria.

I went to my backyard and hopped the fence to go and see who else was doing it.

I ran through the trees trying to find someone. I slowed down my pace because I was getting out of breath from running so fast and so far. I stopped at a tree and sat down.

"Hey carl , what are you doing out here" a girl spoke.

I turned around an saw Enid

"What are you doing out here" I asked her

"I just can't stay always in Alexandria , staying in there just makes me feel weaker so I go out here in the real world , because this is what the world is now" she said

"Oh I'm sorry" I told her

"Its okay your fine , but why are you out here" she questioned me

"Well I came out here to see who was hopping the fences , and I found out it was you" we both chuckled.

I got up from the tree , and we started walking back forwards Alexandria.
