Me and Carl walked side-by-side down the steps. I didn't know what we were gonna do so I just followed his lead on everything he did or said cause I didn't know anything about these people.

"Hi my names Maggie" the girl with short brown hair said to me while putting her hand out.

"Y/n" I said shaking her hand with a smile.

These people so far seemed very nice and I felt bad that I was only gonna let them stay for a couple of nights.

"Umm guys I don't have enough beds to fit everybody so you guys might want to figure out the sleeping problem" I said confident

"Well I'm sure we can figure something out if its okay" the dude with a beard and a baby in his hands said.

"That's my father rick he is sorta the leader of the group" Carl said whispering in my ear.

"Hey guys why don't we introduce one another considering we are staying in her house" Carl said

"Well for starters I'm Maggie which I already told you. That's my husband Glenn" she said pointing to the dude laying on the couch

"That's daryl , there is rick , michonne , Abraham , Rosita , Tara , Eugene , carol , Sasha , and the little baby is Judith" sha said pointing to all the people crowding around.

There was so many of them , and when they left I would be alone again.

"Well I'm Y/n" I said trying to greet myself to everybody even though most of them weren't paying no attion because they were to busy unpacking or eating.

"So as you all know miss y/n said that we can stay here for a couple of nights. So I want everyone to be on there best behaviors and help out with anything she needs" rick said looking at me.

Carl didn't want to stay and hear his fathers lecture or whatever he was saying so carl took my hand and we quietly went up the stairs unnoticed.

"Umm i was wondering if I could stay up here with you so I wouldn't have to sleep on the floor down stairs" carl asked me

"Umm yeah that wouldn't be in problem , but what are we gonna do til then?" I asked dumbfounded.

"We can get to know each other" he said sitting down on my creacky floor

"Well my parents died during this apocalypse , umm I had two brothers and a dog. I have been staying at my home since this shit hlle started , and I haven't encountered any living or dead source since my parents died" I said freely

"I'm sorry for you" he said staring into my eyes

"Don't be sorry the past is the past , nothing can change that"

"Well I was shot when I was a little boy by looking at a dear. The farm that we were staying at got ran over by walkers then we moved into a prison and fought this person whose name is the govener but he is dead now. Oh and most of our group members died and one of them was my mom , and she died of child birth. Then we had this girl beth that everybody cared about died and so did her father Hershel and they were both related to Maggie so the only person she has left is Glenn and us , but there is a lot of other horrid deaths that I can never get out of my mind , but I think about them all the time. An then after all of that we got overrun again and had no place to stay and that brought us here." He said fiddling with his fingers.

I truely felt bad for all of their losses.

I grabbed his hand and tried to comfort him. The quietness was truley relaxing between the two of us.

"I'm sorry that's happened" I said holding tighter on his hand

"Its okay like you said the past in the past no need to worry about it." He said staring into my eyes again with his beautiful crystal blue eyes.

"So who's baby is that cause she is adorable" I said giggling a bit trying to change the subject.

"Oh thats my baby sister she was the one who sorta killed my mom but it truly wasn't her fault" he said once again in a sad tone.

If I wasn't so dumb I wouldn't have even asked him about that.

"Well I should have known considering you did say your mom died in child birth and your father was holding her" I said looking at him.

"Don't worry about it. Oh look it seems to be night time now." He started giggling.

"I guess we have been talking about our lives all day" I said chuckling along with him.

"We should get some sleep , cause we have a long day tomorrow" he said grabbing my hand trying to stand up.

We got up and brushed our selves off then both climbed into the bed. I slept facing the wall while carl was laying behind me wrapping his arms around my fragile body. It seemed very comfortable and relaxing knowing I wasn't alone anymore , and I will sure not give it up.
