Peter

My siblings and I race out of our home and into bomb shelters. The war has begun and things have gotten so.... unbearable and dangerous. I even saw a change in my little brother's personality, which saddens me.

Edmund clings onto Mother tightly. All the while, Lucy cried in fear and Susan hugged her close, her facial expression also evident with fear. Our father was forced to battle in this War! I miss him, we all do!

Edmund

I hugged Mother tightly. 'This should have never happened!' I thought. 'Father should have NEVER left for War! Why would HE be the one chosen out of thousands of other soldiers?!'

My thoughts continued to race violently through my mind. War is terrifying. I want everything to go back to the way it was!

But, that was not the case....
