Filled with Serendipity
_Imprisoned inside the mansion, you never knew anything about the outside world. Just watching from your window by your room. Watching kids play outside, running beside the road. Buying ice creams and getting all muddy.
You were both jealous and resentful as you were just inside the mansion. Being treated as a princess, since you were the princess of the family. Without any girl on your family, without relatives or cousins to play with. Is just a rough childhood for you.
But in return, it'll give you a proper future. Inherit your father's company and afford anything you could possibly wish for.
You talk delicate, you walk delicate, you look delicate, you live delicate. As you were supposed to be. Everything was doing fine, at least for your dad. Since you don't get to see you brothers around the house that, you've gotten curious to how all the expectations, and all the heritage comes to you.
"y/n-chan, your teacher's here." your personal maid muttered softly, calling you as you were watching the outside world.
You didn't respond and just gave her a peck of smile. You are currently 13 years old. And having trouble interacting with people you don't recognize. Your brothers would visit you twice a month, everytime your father asks them to.
But something seemed to bother you, is that your brothers are not really close with you. You would sometimes hear your name, yelled by them like they were arguing or something. Every time you pass by the halls, you would hear your name being shouted.
After your class is done, you were sent by your father to the dining hall to where you guys get to share dinner. You were confused, to why it's justvthe teo of you again. Not with your brothers.
"Hey, what do you think about y/n?" Rindou suddenly asked out of nowhere.
"Asking that all of a sudden? It's been 13 years since she was named to be a Haitani." Ran answered.
"That doesn't answer my question." He uttered, frowning upon him.
"Well, why don't we visit her?" Ran asked with a grin.
"But we're not allowed t-"
"We are Haitanis, we can do WHATEVER we want."
"Make sure to read your books before you sleep okay? Don't stay up too late." your father stated, as he escorted you to your room.
At this time you were currently sitting by your bed, books on your lap as you were about to read those lessons that will be teaching tomorrow.
You opened the book and started reading.
"Damn, father must've really liked this girl huh?" Rindou asked, as they were both sneaking to y/n's balcony.
"Sucks to be her, good thing we chose our own paths." Ran replied.
"Come in." you suddenly spoke, whilst reading and focusing your eyes at the book you're holding. Knowing that her brothers are outside her balcony window.
So there both of them were surprised and walked inside your room. Revealing both of them to their sister. You didn't take a single gaze at them and just, locked your eyes on your book.
"Impressive little one, how'd you know we were there?" Ran asked, as they both went inside completely.
"I sensed your presence." you answered.
Silence filled the room. As the three of you were waiting for someone to talk. It's most definitely not you, you are currently studying. At the age of 8, you mindset has grown.
"What are you reading?" Rindou asked.
As he was walking towards you, taking a peek on the book you were reading.
"Physics." you answered. "What are you guys doing here?"
You closed your book and landed it on your lap. With half of your body is covered with you blanket. You smiled at them as you were surprised by their sudden visit at your room.
"We're here to check on you, is that wrong?" Ran asked.
"Did you see any signs that it was wrong on my face?"
"Okay, you win." He chuckled.
Your room was filled with laughter. Usually these two guys are rather cold and bashful, but to you. They were fools. You never knew anything about your brothers. You didn't even know the reason why they weren't living with you.
That made you wonder, stopped yourself from laughing. You looked at them with confused and curiosity painted on your face.
"Is there something you want to ask?" Rindou asked, blinking his eyes a few times.
"Yeah, I've been meaning to ask you, father or anyone around here about this. But I'm just lacking of courage to do so.." you mumbled.
Both of them waited for your next words. They knew what you were going to ask. The three of you aren't that close, but you guys built a restrained affinity by the time you were at the age that you can understand slightest of things.
"Why aren't you living with us?" you asked.
The two of them let out a sigh and walked towards you. Their smell are a bit similar to yours. Of course, you are their sister.
"We chose our own paths, y/n. Never wanted to live the kind of life you're living. Homeschooled, and your life has been decided. None of us wanted this, not me, not Rindou. I don't know about you though." Ran stated.
"And what kind of path did you both choose?" you asked.
They both looked at each other, because they knew that the kind of path that they chose is not really friendly.
"We'll tell you when the time's right."
"Why don't you sleep here for tonight?" you again asked.
"That's absurd, father won't be happy when he sees us with you." Rindou scoffed.
"Why? We're family, aren't we?" you mumbled.
The three Haitanis were stunned, family.
Rindou and Ran wondered, why weren't they treated by their father as well as how their father treats y/n. Of course, they chose the wrong path. In order to have fun, they found fun joining delinquency.
