The class flew by since I basically knew all the stuff that the teacher was explaining. I may not look it or seem it, since I look zoned out or as if I'm not paying attention to most of my classes, but I am smart. School always came naturally to me, and while kids struggled with math or spent hours studying for an exam it was all a breeze to me.
I honestly have no idea if that arrogant piece of ass sitting right next to me said anything since I was zoned out in my own world throughout the duration of the class period. When the bell rang, I got up and started walking out the door, as I walked out, I saw a petite figure standing by the door. I soon realized that it was,
"Hold on,, what was her name again?"
Lilly, Lola, oh yeah it was Lizzy. As soon as Lizzy saw me her face lit up like a Christmas tree would on Christmas day.
"Hey, so how did your first class go?" she asked.
"It went ok." I mumbled back.
Lizzy started going on about her class and what the teacher did that day and so forth. She was so into her conversation I already knew there was no way I was going to be able to interrupt, and since I remember her saying that we had the same next class together I decided not to worry about. A long 5 classes, plus one long lunch period, and four hours later I was ready to be done with school but sadly I still had one class left. When I was signing up for classes this is the one class, I really did not want to take but I ended up not having a choice because all the other classes were full.
While Alex was quiet and not the one bit happiest about the class Lizzy on the other was jumping up and down with excitement. Walking into the Child Development Class they decided to sit towards the back next to each other. The teacher soon welcomed them to the class and told them they will be starting a project but it will be different than the regular, "baby" project as many like to call it. He told them as the days go by he will go more in depth about how it's going to work and all that but as of now he will start of by announcing the partners. Alex zoned out until she heard Lizzy squeal from excitement when she heard her name being called,
"Elizabeth and Ryan." they both heard the teacher say.
What Alex noticed next is that Lizzy's face turned a slight shade of pink which Alex thought was adorable. Maybe they'll end up together, Ryan looked like a nice, sweet guy.
"Alexandra and." "Actually, it's Alex."
She automatically interrupted not realizing what she did.
The teacher looked at her and smiled,
"Oh I'm sorry about that, Alex and Alex then."
She looked up at him slightly confused. Looking around the classroom she soon saw the familiar face of the last person she wanted to see. Great she thought, this is just going to be great. I got paired with the most irresponsible, egotistic, obnoxiously annoying person ever.
