Yesss here it is: since like no one has done this and I'm bored, here is my ranking of the MCSM episodes from worst to best here we go.

13. Assembly Required

*sigh* boy I've got a lot to say about this episode. This is the worst episode the series has to offer for many reasons.

1. It was completely rushed. Yes, I'm aware of the production and how it was worked alongside episode 1 and which was why it was released just two weeks later, but it didn't completely hide away how rushed it was. Parts like Redstonia was pretty boring and basic and in could be better

2. Redstonia and Ellegaard as a whole. You could look at this episode and tell which side had more production and thought into it. BoomTown was challenging and fun. You have to get pass a bunch of people who want to kill you and steal the key to find Magnus, that's more better compared to Redstonia's boring "find a repeater" thing. I loved Redstonia, it had a good scenery but it was boring and basic as a storyline.

Magnus' character was more thought out and interesting compared to Ellegaard as well. Magnus is more entertaining than Ellegaard in any way. You literally have to battle him so you could leave with him to the Temple, that is genius. While helping Ellegaard work on her command block thing would be logical, it doesn't help with her seem narcissistic and judgmental. Magnus is also narcissistic but he's quite more likable compared to Ellegaard.

Writing this episode, I preferred BoomTown. When I was writing the parts of Redstonia, I kept pausing and getting distracted because I felt bored out by it. Redstonia could've been so much more. And then when they come back to the Temple again the episode was completely rushed because deadass it doesn't matter what you choose, the Wither Storm still catches up to you.

Like if you go at night, the wither storm somehow teleported from Redstonia/BoomTown to Soren's Fortress but if you leave at morning, the same thing happens but it's more reasonable because you waited until the next day. That is just.. why.

This episode had its goods however. BoomTown was a fun and experimental masterpiece and the fight with Ivor was well thought out as well. The ending was intense, dramatic and so good for a rushed episode.

Overall rating? 5/10. Moving on...

12. Hero in Residence

I have.. mixed feelings about this episode? For starters, at least it wasn't too rushed. Everything was well paced but the first half of the episode seemed boring. It opens up to Jesse and the Order five years later, they have their own lives, Jesse meets Petra in the mines, Jesse finds a weird gauntlet and then they go to Champion City. All good? Well Champion City is the most boring part. From the Mines to Champion City, I almost lost interest rewriting S2 because of this reason.

This part was so BORING. And it didn't do anything besides introduce Stella's character and Petra lashing out which both could've been handled differently and better. The boredom doesn't stop there, moving onto the Sea Temple, it was interesting but got boring quickly. Thank Jesus that big Colossus came.

It's upsetting because comparing Hero in Residence to Order of the Stone, it's a joke. Order of the Stone did a better job not only portraying and introducing characters, it kept being interesting unlike what Hero in Residence failed to do. The way Jack came was great though at least but he got annoying quickly. Mr, just say you're jealous and call it a day.

Overall rating? 5/10

11. Order Up!

Ah yes the first episode of the Portal Network arc. Surprised it's this low? Well don't be. The first half was interesting, loved it. When we get to SkyCity, still liked it, kinda? But it got boring at times, like when you're just roaming around the city to collect information about the place or when you went with Ivor and got trapped in prison.

And then we have Isa's character. She wasn't all that bad? She just seemed more bland compared to the fun and rebellious Milo. I prefer going with Milo because Isa being kinda lame. What I do like about her character is her motive and how she's just strict and doing what she does simply because she wants to protect her people and make sure they all make it through.

So personality? Bland. But motives and execution? It works. And she's a total boss when she was fighting off them monsters.

Milo was great as well. He doesn't seem much, but his motives was clear from the beginning. He is tired of the constant and strict rules of SkyCity and just wants to be free, which is natural especially matching it up with history. Revolutions like the French Revolution, the Russian Revolution, the American Revolution and etc. I'd like to think that if Jesse didn't came, Milo would've started a Revolution, especially how against he is of the Founder.

Lastly, I'm not lying when I say Aiden carried the episode on his back. My man SLAYED and left no crumbs. Aiden's motives, his actions and plan is top tier and that made him a great villain, even more when you could choose to help him or throw him off the edge.

Why? Because he'll either learn from his mistakes or continue to have a grudge against Jesse. Whoever made his character deserves a grown. Literally.

Overall, this episode had so much thought put into it and around a mid execution minus the Blaze Rods' parts. Overall rating: 6/10

10. A Portal to Mystery

Ah yes the White Pumpkin episode. May be surprising putting the serial killer episode this low but I'm all about unpopular opinions so let's get into it. This episode started strong but then we reach the characters. Stacy was overly annoying.

Despite being really nice irl, they made her character so rude and shady. Dan deserved better than what we got, I'd love to see his character more. Lizzie was the most real one, like she wanted no business but to tell her story and leave. Stampy had the most character development even I had to say. He was completely terrified at the beginning but eventually got some confidence and helped Jesse find out who the White Pumpkin is, which I love.

SPARKLEZ DESERVED WAY BETTER HE GOT SLAMMED INTO THE GROUND 😭😭

But that doesn't outweigh the bad. This was an overrated episode. For starters, when the group found the white pumpkin lair, the moment you see the cats, it's just obvious. Whoever wrote that in please do better. The cat part was annoying and took out so much time that I flat out just improvised. Again, Stacy was overly annoying.

If one should say, without the YouTubers then this episode wouldn't get the hype it got. It's not bad, it's more in the mid section when it comes to mcsm's episode list.

I would continue but this is getting a little long. What do you guys think? What's your favorite or least favorite episode and why?
