'Have you noticed...'

A lot of things have started to come to light...

The morning started off... differently.

instead of the energy that had always been produced by the energetic, orange haired girl, it seems like the morning was filled with a little bit of tension.

The preparations of breakfast and eating felt like there was little fear within two of the eldest children.

Daily testing went on as usual, and lunch seems normal as well besides the little delay of the food getting taken out.

"Have you noticed, Emma and Norman haven't been their normal selves since last night?" Gilda whispered to Anna. Anna shrugged her shoulders.

"I mean, Emma did seem a little off this morning... But I just thought it was one of those days that she was out of it." Anna replied going back to the morning.

"I think something happened last night... I mean, Emma loves mom a lot. But she seems really scared of mom." Gilda stated. And Gilda was correct. Emma seemed to have been ignoring Isabella all day and it also seemed that her and Norman were scared of her.

Not too long after their conversation, did the both of them continued to get lunch ready.

'I wonder if Ray knows what happened... They're all pretty close... right?' Anna thought to herself while finishing up.

All of the kids were outside playing. But instead of the bright colored haired pair being outside playing with the other kids, they were having a little secret talk in the forest. Anna was one of the last kids to come out last after helping with the cleaning up. Anna walked out and walked over to Ray to sit down with him.

Anna sat there for a couple of minutes before speaking.

"Do you know what's wrong with Emma and Norman?" Anna asked, looking into the forest where she could barely see them.

Ray shrugged his shoulders, turning the page in his book over.

"Not sure. They've been like this since last night after they returned little bunny to Conny." Ray answered not thinking about his answers much.

Once again, Anna felt like there was more to the story then he was leading on. But she didn't want to disturb him anymore and stopped talking.

'It's like they're all hiding a secret. And it seems like the house is what they're afraid of.'

Are we too childish to know?

"Anna, where are the older 5 children?" Isabella asked looking around at the field of children. Anna knew where they all where, they were all having a secret meeting in the forest again. But Anna didn't actually know which area of the forest they were in.

"No clue, mama." Anna responded. She had no reason to lie, but she felt like she had to for some odd reason.

'There was no real need to lie...' Anna said to herself looking around at the kids. Yes, the 5 eldest children seemed to have been missing and it mostly started around the time that Conny had left.
