"Maybe you can help me with making breakfast..."

"It can't be that hard."

The clock in the main room echoed through the bunker's hallways. The loud sound of the clock ringing five a.m. bouncing off of the walls that were usually filled with running children. It was only one hour before everyone would awake from their slumbers, and only two of the children were awake at this early hour. They had woken up half an hour ago and we're sitting in the kitchen talking. The lovely "nurse" of the bunker sitting on the counter with her legs dangling off of the side with her hands on the side of her, the dangerous book smart leaning against the opposite side of the kitchen with a book behind him.

"It's already five," Anna commented with a slight chuckle as she observed the clock in the kitchen.

"Well who told you to wake up early?" Ray asked with a raise of his eyebrow, Anna rolling her eyes.

"Maybe you can help me with making breakfast since you woke up early too." She stated, grabbing a cooking book from behind her that was sitting with the other books Yuugo had arranged there.

Ray thought about it for a second before agreeing, "It can't be that hard." He stated, walking over towards Anna and grabbing the book out of her hands to look at it. Anna scoffing in surprise of his actions.

Ten minutes had passed and the two had decided on what they would make for breakfast that morning. Settling on soup for the cold morning.

"It's so cold in here." Anna mumbled as she cupped her hands together and blew into them for warmth.

The bunker was usually warm with the amount of bodies and movement that moved around the enclosed space, but because of it being the two of them only moving around and the semi insulated walls, the bunker was chilly.

"Go put your cardigan on then." Ray simply answered as he started grabbing stuff from the cupboards to make the soup.

"It's fine, I don't want to wake up the younger girls that are sleeping in there." Anna answered, watching Ray as he took a glance at the cook book and then closed it. "Why'd you close the book?" Anna asked puzzled.

"Don't need it," He said, "Remember it so it's no use having it out." He explained.

Anna sighed and opened the cook book once again. Reading the recipe and how to prepare it as Ray started on the soup itself. Anna turning the stove on as the recipe called for and then stood next to it letting it warm herself up.

Ray caught sight of this from a glance and placed the things in his hands down on the counter. Taking his white cardigan off and draping over Anna's shoulders. The cardigan hanging over her body and was slightly longer and bigger than the regular clothing that Anna usually wore.
