Hello.
You open your eyes to see yourself standing in the middle of a dark room, with only the moonlight above you for illumination, both of your hands clutching a large unlit candle. In the dim light of the moon, your eyes blink, attempting to see what's around you.
A woman with short dark hair approaches you with her arms at her sides. As she walks closer, you notice the round glasses on her small face.
"Welcome, (Y/N)." She says with a friendly smile.
"Who are you?" You inquired, "And what is this place?" You tried to turn your feet to look behind you, but they didn't move. Your body felt numb like it wasn't yours. Strange.
When you realize this, you try to move one of your hands, which was merely holding a white candle, as if you were presenting it to her. Your eyes widen as you begin to panic. It won't move at all.
You were immobilized.
"It's not important for you to know who I am." She says as she adjusts her glasses.
Your (e/c) eyes were brought to the woman's ice blue ones, and she was still smiling at you, her head tilted to the side. "You're in my white space," She begins to circle your figure with her arms behind her back.
"Kind of contradictory, isn't it?" She chuckles, pausing on your left side.
"A dark void of a room called 'white space'."
"Enough about me," The dark-haired lady says. With a light airy jump, she walks, making a full circle and stopping in front of you. "I'll explain your role."
"Role?"
The once darkroom now glowed with little golden bright sparks, similar to floating fireflies, but brighter.
She approaches your frozen form, reaching out her right arm to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. You shuddered, feeling her smooth fingertips stroke over the curve of your jaw.
"You might need to sit down for this." She advised, patting your shoulder.
You wrinkle your brows, about to open your mouth to protest about your inability to move, and maybe to ask why you're here-wherever this is. But before you could, you were dragged by an invisible force. It pulls you down into a comfortable chair.
You were forced to sit up straight, your hands still carrying the candle in front of you. You blew out a deep breath from the abrupt impact. Both of your hands and legs are bound by unseen chains, keeping you locked in your place. Your eyes look up to discover the lady several steps away from where you're seated. She had a little white flower in her hand that hadn't yet bloomed.
"You see, before you could continue your journey, it's better to know where you'll be." She crossed her arms.
Several green vines emerged from the white blossom's bud. It slithered softly around to embrace her arm like tamed pythons. Your brows furrowed at the peculiar sight. What the heck is that?
Behind her, the glittering spheres of light cluttered together to form an island, with tall mountains surrounding the middle, like a village.
"This is Encanto," she explains, pointing behind her. "This is the world you'll be living in."
"First, I have a warning," her footsteps echoed throughout the room as she began walking towards you. Her ice-sharp eyes pierce yours as she looms over your sitting form, shining in the reflection of the moonlight.
