they both walked hand and hand in the mall greyson didn't like shopping but she needed a dress for maddy and hers birthday party and ashtray offered to tag along.

she twisted her cherry flavored lollipop in her mouth, "something wrong?" She asked looking up to see his furrowed eyebrows. She noticed he kept checking the time and was on his phone a lot she had suspicion something was up when he offered to go to the mall with her he hated shopping unless it involved Hats or shoes.

he looked down at her, "what? no" he cleared his throat, "you sure?" He nodded squeezing her hand reassuringly.

She was an overthinker but she told herself to not think too much into his weird behavior besides she got distracted when she saw scooters. "ooh! Let's do that" She exclaimed pointing at the them they were designed to look like animals.

He took one glance. "no"

"do it or you don't love me" she teased making his jaw drop. "that gotta be some type of manipulation shit" she smiled, "it is. Now cmon" she pulling him to stand not giving him a chance to say no.

"Two scooters please" she said politely holding out the money that was du the woman smile grabbing it from her sliding it into the register.

"if anyone sees me on this thing. I'll kill myself and you" She scrunched her nose, "You love me too much" he couldn't argue with that because he knew it was true.

they both started to ride it around the floor.

"Talking all that shit and your smiling" He rolled his eyes flicking her off playfully while doing donuts she got bored riding around so she bumped her scooter into his making him swerve almost hitting someone.

She laughed a bit while he seemed a lot less amused. "Sorry intrusive thoughts"He couldn't hold his laugh at he tried to pretend to be mad "you are something"

A voice behind them interrupted there conversation, "Greyson!"

She turned seeing who called her name, she saw maddy and Kat standing side by side both of them waving. She smiled tightly, "hey" Maddy was teasing Ashtray about the puppy he was riding which he gave her the middle finger until she pulled out her phone snapping a picture of the two.

"Absolutely not." He said immediately making Grey laugh but she followed him back to the stand to park there scooters. She met up with her friends hugging the both of them. "what are you guys doing?" She asked, "Where actually shopping, do you wanna come with us?" She scrunched her eyebrows looking back at Ash. "sure, why not."

Ash nodded. "I have to go get my fitted hat anyways"

They both agreed on a plan to meet up at the end of the day.  "i know you— you like to wonder. Don't get lost and if you get into any trouble let me know. " He said firmly, he's been more protective ever since she found out about her ulcer which is understandable.

"i will and I might be buying you shit so don't come till I tell you" she told him.

"I don't want you waisting your money grey" She scoffed. "It's not a waste if I want to do it. Besides you buy me shit all the time"

"Bu-" She cut him off by kissing his lips. "no buts. I'll see you later" she smiled making him sigh.

"Can y'all hurry up I'm about to kill myself I have to watch you both kiss again" maddy shouted from the Escalator. Ash smiled sarcastically leaning down to kiss her more while starring at Maddy who rolled her eyes at his pettyness. Greyson pulled away with a smile, "bye ma"
