Ok hear me out, what if the reason Remy wears sunglasses is because when he was younger he was wearing said glasses and went the beach and decided to sunbathe but forgot to take off the glasses so he got tanned around the sunglasses but the area around his eyes were not so, he wore the sunglasses to hide his stupidity over time it went away but he wore them for so long that it has now become part of his outfit and character so he just keeps it on.
