I stare at the smaller child in disbelief. There's no way that could actually be Georgie, could it? I stab my thumb nail into my index finger, as if I'm trying to wake myself up from a dream.
"Georgie?" I repeat, almost whispering.
"What took you so long?" Georgie cried to Bill.
By now I was sobbing. I look over to see Bill crying too. Georgie walks closer, stepping in the full light. My eyes open wide and my heart drops once I see Georgie's missing arm. His and Bill's paper boat clutched in his other hand.
"I-I was looking for you this whole time" Bill said.
"I couldn't find my way outta here. He said I could have my boat back, Billy."
Bill looks down and sees the paper boat Georgie was holding. He can't help but softly smile at the sight.
"Was she fast?" Bill asked Georgie.
"I couldn't keep up with it."
Bill's face seemed to drop after Georgie said that. I didn't know why, though.
"She. Georgie. You call boats she" Bill corrected.
"Take me home, Billy."
I started crying even more. I can't imagine what Georgie has been though. I could hardly last a day in that house. Georgie has been in these sewers longer than I can remember. By now, all of the losers came up behind me and Bill. I let out a small breath of relief seeing Bev is there and ok. Once all the losers see Georgie, they all let out a gasp as well.
"I wanna go home" Georgie cried. "I miss you, I wanna be with mom and dad."
"I want more than anything for you to be home. With mom and dad" Bill stepped forward. "I miss you so much."
"I love you, Billy."
"I love you, too."
Bill looked at Georgie for a minute before picking up Mike's gun he had strapped around his shoulder, and held it to Georgie's forehead.
"But you're not Georgie."
I open my eyes wide in shock. What is he doing?
"Bill! W-"
Before I was able to say anything, Bill pulled the trigger. He lowered the gun for Georgie's head showing the hold in his forehead. I wince at the sight. Georgie falls back into the shallow water of the sewer.
"Bill..."
A tear falls down my cheek. Bill turned around and pulls me into a hug, and he cries on my shoulder. Just as Bill pulled out of the hug, Georgie's body started to shake violently. In shock, I step back from him. Bill starts moving back too.
"Georgie" starts screaming as he continues to shake. Demonic sounds started coming out from him. I instantly turn around a bury my face into Mike's chest. who happed to be right there. I hear more screaming and roaring, causing me to close my eyes tighter.
I slowly turn back around, still holding onto Mike. "Georgie" had now started forming into the clown, growing red puffballs on his feet and a big white clown costume. It's legs started to grow out
longer along with it's arms. It then formed into the clowns head. Mike grabs the metal fencing we had packed just before. I let go of him to give him some room so could use that thing. The clown stand up, and smiles at us demonically. We all start screaming and backing away."Kill it Bill! Kill it!" Eddie screamed.
"Oh shit" Richie gasped.
All at once everyone was screaming at Bill to kill it.
