Gentle sounds of a baby crying filled the hospital room. Doctors quietly cheered.
The king smoothly rubs the Queen's hand with his thumb. "What should we name her?". They had planned a few names ahead of time, Jay, Tyler, and the Queen's most favourite of them all, Rory, of course, they were all boy names and with a baby girl, they would have to choose a new name.
"Aurora. Aurora Glashow." The Queen said happily.
Tears of joy ran down the king's face. "Perfect". The king watches the doctor clean his baby and wrap her into a soft and fluffy blue blanket with a bundle of love. Doctor Mccoy, the family doctor, comes over and laid Aurora lightly in the Queen's arms. "Congratulations your majesty's, you have a very healthy and beautiful daughter!"
"Thank you" The King smiled. This was the happiest day of his life. After spending 36 months trying to make a baby, they finally did it. The hard work paid off. The King turns towards the Queen and sees her spirits brightened. The Queen moves the blanket to see the baby scrunching up her nose. "Beautiful". The King murmured, "she has your nose, Lucy". Aurora slowly opens her eyes, "And she has your eyes", Lucy added. The baby's luminescent eyes, sprinkled in green-ish and yellow, just like the King.
"We must show the Kingdom, Oscar" Lucy whispered, a finger running down her baby's cheek. Oscar smiles, "Agreed." This was a momentum commemoration after all.

Strimmers flew through the air as the crowd cheered with the new arrival of the princess. The banquet with a beautiful marble floor had people spring into the air. The architectural walls bounced with music and colours of joy.
The Queen watches on her throne holding a precious little baby. Beside her, the King stood up and waved only one of his arms. Immediately, what was once a magical moment was silenced. The King was a powerful and imitating man. With one glare he could have an army of highly trained soldiers bow down to his side.
"Today is a special day, for all of us", His voice boomed, "Especially for my wife", He turns around to Lucy and smiled. Through the window, a cast of rosy hues crosses the banquet floor. The King picks up his baby and holds her up in the air. "My child will be the most beautiful and powerful of the 7 seas!", The King's voice was getting louder and louder, "She will be loved and feared and you must respect her. If you don't well...".
Soldiers enter the room surrounding the citizens and servants, all armed with weapons. "You will be punished. Does anyone want to object?".
The crowd turned to one another, all had a fear in their eyes. The immensely cold room was a good enough answer. "I thought so." The King smiled. With one nod from the King, the crowd goes back to like it was before, vibrations of music all playing union along with people dancing and cheering. After all, they had to seem happy about the princess's arrival. Otherwise, they will know what's coming.
"You know you didn't have to do that", The Queen now holding her baby in her arms, "People will listen to you no matter what".
"I know darling", The King Strokes her cheeks, "I just wanted people to know that I'm always in control". The King turns over to his loyal subjects. To him, they are just ants. Ants that will do what he says. He could snap his fingers and tell someone to jump out of a window, and they will do it. The King smiles at that thought.

Outside the banquet hall, a group of men walked out.
"Did you hear that?" Said one of the men, "The King just threatened the whole kingdom and got away with it".
The tallest one steps forward, "The King has been a tyrant to us all. We must give him payback", he punches his fist.
"Now...Now..." The leader steps forward and lights a cigarette. "We will in time".
"And how will we do that", The tall one crosses his arms.
The leader smiles, "We will go after what he loves the most. His daughter." The leader drops his cigarette on the ground and crushes it.
