Chapter 5

Those guys were not after Salim...and he's putting all of his attention onto Yuno...what is he planning... Sua glared at him as he spoke, noticing something was not right.

"Klaus, give me your ear for a second." Sua whispered, gaining his and Mimosa's attention as they discussed what had happened.

After noting a few things, they all clearly knew this wasn't a simple ambush, but nobody was able to understand the situation fully.

"I want to know where you had to live to grow up so strong." Salim's voice cut through the air, not only raising even more suspicion, but also gaining the attention of everybody around them.

"Lord Salim, that's rather out of the way." Klaus pointed out.

"Besides, given what just happened, we don't know what else might happen along the way, so we should head straight for the Heart Kingdom-"

"No matter who may come after me, you three will protect me, won't you?" Salim cut in, raising his hand in front of Klaus.

What is he after...? Sua pondered, unsure of all of the details to be able to determine an answer.

Third Person POV

Arriving after a long journey, Sua noticed that there was a nun walking out of what seemed to be a small, run down church. She looked up in recognition however towards Yuno as they made a safe landing.

"Oh/ Yuno! Welcome back!" She excitedly announced, running towards Yuno with clear joy in her face.

"Thanks, I'm home." Yuno said, smiling with a fond look towards the older woman.

Woah, so he can smile! Sua noted with awe, staring at the taller boy who seemed to have a completely different air around him.

"You've grown so much!"

"I haven't changed. It's only been two months since I left."

"Really? But...yes. Your face has matured. You look more like an adult. What brings you here today?" She finally questioned as Yuno's face dropped the smile, looking towards Salim who had been watching.

"We're stopping by briefly during our mission." He answered.

"Why must I visit this village in the Forsaken Realm?" Klaus questioned aloud, closing his grimoire as he once again dispelled his vehicle.

"Oh, um, hello. I'm Sister Lily." Sister greeted, walking closer towards Klaus.

"I'm Klaus Lunettees of the honorable Golden Dawn, led by William Vangeance. I'm a mentor to these new recruits." He announced, pushing up his glasses as he directed himself towards Mimosa and Yuno.

"Hello, Klaus. Thank you for looking after Yuno. I've heard of you from Yuno's letters."

"Letters?" He questioned, not understanding why someone from the Forsaken Realm knew who exactly he was.

"What did you write about me?" He then questioned Yuno, untrusting of his words as Yuno simply looked away to mess with him.

"I'm Mimosa Vermillion, one of Yuno's colleagues." Mimosa introduced, walking up as she smiled towards Sister.

"I've also heard about you!"

"Oh? What did you write about me?" She questioned as Yuno once again refused to answer.

"However, I don't think he's really mentioned you before. May I know your name?" Sister asked Sua as she had been standing close to Mimosa.

Surprising her, Sua bowed towards her as she introduced herself.
