Chapter 14

"Some older brother you are, you can't even go two seconds without asking the nearest girl on a date. How do you expect to prove anything to him?" She asked as he looked her in the eyes before they both laughed at each other, joking as their bond ran deeper than everyone else knew. This seemed to irk Yuno once again, much to his surprise, but he assumed it had been because he still hasn't been able to talk to Sua thanks to their conflicting schedules.

"Well, the fighting's settled down. Should we go meet up with mister Yami now?" Finral questioned, clutching his chest as his heart rate was going haywire due to the fight and argument.

"Good idea! Later, Yuno!" Asta agreed, smiling towards his rival as they prepared to leave.

"Yeah. See you, Asta. Don't eat stuff off the ground." He deadpanned.

"Like I'd do that!! I used to do it a lot, but..."

"Um...um...c-could you maybe tell me your address?" Charmy approached as Bell flinched, immediately halting her as she spread dust and scales in her face as they argued once again.

"Let's talk soon, shall we? I know you must have a lot of questions, but for now we should be heading back." Sua said as she patted Yuno on the back to get his attention, looking up at him as he had stared back.

"Yeah...that would be nice." He smiled as she quickly hugged him, catching him off guard once again as his face got warm. As quickly as she hugged him, she ran off and jumped onto Finral's back for a piggyback ride and waved them off. Bell had not said a word, but she spared a smile in her direction as they waved at each other.

Third Person POV

"So, kid. Are you just not satisfied unless you do some kind of fighting? Huh? Is that a disease?" Yami questioned as he was currently holding Asta by the head, Sua laughing as he was squirming around.

"M-my body just moved on its owwwwn!!!" He screamed in pain, trying to escape the grip on his head.

"Well, to be fair you had to just listen and you wouldn't be in this situation." Sua deadpanned, Asta looking betrayed as she was the one who had told Yami what happened.

"Well, whatever. You fight when you were already all torn up. You'd better get yourself checked out. Your head too." Yami explained as they approached Sua's least favorite room in the entire world.

"Hi there, Yami! Come on in." Dr. Owen's voice came from inside as he was currently sitting at a table with some tea, awaiting his guests.

"The old guy who doesn't fit in with this grand tower is exactly what he looks like. The country's best quack doctor."

"Mean!"

"Well, he stuck my arm back on for me the time it almost came off. He's a great recovery mage. Let him take a look at you after Sua." Yami explained as he let him down, both patients walking forward.

"I'm Owen, and as a recovery mage, I work directly under the Wizard King. It's a pleasure to meet you." Dr. Owen introduced himself, smiling towards Asta as he was meeting him for the first time.

"I'm Asta! It's great to meet you too, sir!!" Asta introduced in awe.

"I've heard stories about you. Like when I was out drinking with Yami or when Sua was stuck inside for so long and would tell me about everything."

"Seriously?!"

"Okay, well, I've gotta go see a man about a dog. I feel like I could win today." Yami said as he walked out, not bothering to stick around for any personal medical disclosures being shared.

"So you're going gambling?!" Asta questioned loudly.

"May lady luck smile on you!" Dr. Owen wished as he waved towards his back.
