Y/N ran off, leaving Bokuto to just watch him run away. Bokuto pouted, before realising that he had never given Y/N his stuff back. Bokuto smiled. This would give him an excuse to go and see Y/N, and this would also give Bokuto an excuse to properly comfort Y/N.
Bokuto walked down the sidewalk, until he realized that he doesn't know where Y/N actually lives. Bokuto thought for a minute. How could he get Y/N's address? He turned around noticed Taguchi walking along the sidewalk.
"Hey hey hey! Taguchi!" Bokuto called out.
Taguchi let out an annoyed groan. "What the hell do you want, you stupid owl?"
"Do you have any idea where Y/N lives? He dropped his stuff and I wanted to check on him. He seemed pretty upset earlier." Bokuto asked, innocently tilting his head to the side.
Taguchi sighed. "Of course I know where he lives, dumbass. Y/N's my twin brother." Bokuto's eyes widened. Taguchi sighed again. "If you care so much about Y/N then just follow me, but do me a favor and don't talk to me."
Bokuto, of course, didn't comply with that request, but not because he didn't want to, just because he was a naturally very talkative and curious person. "Soooo, I don't know if this is really my place to ask anything like this, but did something violent happen in Y/N's past? You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I'd just wanna help."
Taguchi stopped in his tracks. "How the hell do you know anything about that?"
"What do you mean?" Bokuto stopped alongside Taguchi.
Taguchi sighed. "To put it simply, our dad was pretty violent when he left, and our mother has had drunken outbursts before. That's all that I'm willing to tell you, if you want more information then you'll have to ask Y/N, cuz I ain't telling you any more shit."
"Oh, alright. Sorry, I didn't mean to pry into your private life or whatever." Bokuto awkwardly glanced around, trying to find a way to ease the uncomfortable tension.
"It's fine, anyways, we're here-" Taguchi was cut off by a loud crash coming from inside. "...fuck."
"What was that?" Bokuto asked, a concerned look on his face.
"It's nothing, just... go home. Now isn't a good time for you to be here." Taguchi said, nervously trying to look through the closed curtains blocking the window.
"Is Y/N okay?" Bokuto asked.
"Probably not, but- ugh, I guess I owe him one. Just- just leave, alright?" Taguchi stuttered, his hands shaking as they reached for the doorknob, but he quickly retracted them at the noise of another loud crash, the sound of breaking glass, and the sound of his mother screaming.
"You know? Let's just both get out of here, Y/N can handle himself." Taguchi turned around, grabbed onto Bokuto's wrist, and tugged him away from the door.
"Wait!- What? Why aren't you going inside to check on Y/N, he could be hurt." Bokuto was shocked at Taguchi's actions.
"Yeah, and if I go inside my ass is gonna get beat, so I'd rather save my own skin instead of helping out that idiot. He probably did something to piss mom off while she was drunk, so if anything then he might deserve it." Taguchi spat, his hands still shaking.
Bokuto pulled his wrist out of Taguchi's hand. "So your saying that Y/N's hurt." Bokuto's voice shook, and his eyebrows furrowed.
"Yeah, probably." Taguchi's voice cracked, and it sounded as if he was close to tears himself.
"Well then why the hell wouldn't you go help him-" Bokuto was cut off by the sound of a window slamming shut, and frantic footsteps.
Y/N ran up to Taguchi and stopped for a second. "Mom is pissed, don't go home tonight, she's- she's r-really angry."
Taguchi didn't say anything, he just stared at Y/N, who had blood dripping down his face from a large cut on his head. There were bruises along his arms, and pieces of shattered glass wedged into various cuts on his body.
Bokuto found himself speechless for a moment, before he walked up to Y/N and gently placed a hand on his face, looking at all the small cuts littered across his face. "Do you need a place to stay?" Bokuto asked, his voice quiet.
"Y-yeah, but- but I don't want to be a- a bother to you and your f-family." Y/N stuttered, reaching his hand up to wipe off the blood that was about to drip into his eye.
"You wouldn't be a bother at all! I want to make sure that your safe, so please, if you're not safe at home then you, a-and your brother, can stay at my place." Bokuto grabbed Y/N's hands in his and looked into his eyes.
"O-okay, thank you, Bokuto." Y/N hugged Bokuto, placing his head on Bokuto's shoulder. Bokuto felt Y/N's body go limp in his arms. Y/N had fallen unconscious.
Bokuto gently picked up Y/N. Despite Y/N's larger figure, he was extremely light and easy for Bokuto to pick up. "Do you want to stay at my place too, Taguchi?"
"Y-yeah... thanks, I guess." Taguchi looked down towards the ground.
"It's no problem... I just hope that Y/N's okay." Bokuto mumbled, a frown apparent on his face.
"I'm sure he'll be fine, he know how to treat wounds like that... I think. I mean he's always treated my cuts, so I'm sure he can figure it out when he wakes up." Taguchi said, his eyes still pointed straight towards the ground.
Bokuto pouted. He wondered how often Taguchi would get hurt since Taguchi said that Y/N treated his wounds as if he did it often. Hopefully Y/N would be okay, after all, Bokuto didn't want to lose him just after he figured out what he was truly feeling.
