Me, Baji, Chifuyu, Mikey, Emma were all walking in the same direction (because they are neighbors). It was a chilly night from the rain. Our clothes had almost dried from the wind. The night was really overwhelming and not exactly in a good way. It was a silent walk until Emma spoke up, "Thank God Takemitchy was there in time"
"Yes that guy even after getting stabbed didn't give up"
"At first I thought he's so weak why would Mikey recruit him in Toman but now I know why, he's just like big bro Shin(Shinichiro Sano, Mikey's dead older brother)"
"Took you long enough to notice" they smiled and then Mikey continued, "He's a good guy" and we all agreed to that. But a doubt still remains in my head. How did he know? It's like he knew exactly that Draken is going to be stabbed. It's also like he knew about the the inner conflict. Not mention that he even tried to stop those. Who is he? The one who's making it all happen so that he could get close to Mikey? Or the ex partner of the main culprit (who he mentioned himself) and maybe got betrayed that's why h-.
My thoughts got interrupted by Mikey, he said, "We gotta thank him properly" Yeah Draken's alive thanks to him even if it's all his plan he saved Draken anyway, he deserve a thank you.
(a/n- for those who don't know, it's not Takemitchy's plan. He knew all of this beforehand because he can travel time and came from the future to save his girlfriend Hina who'll get killed by the evil version of Toman)
We reached Baji's house a few minutes later. He said, "Tadaima(I'm home)" and turned on the lights. "You can take a shower and I'll give you some spare clothes"
"Yeah thank you for all the trouble"
"No problem, make yourself at home"
We both freshened up and Baji brought some popcorns to the living room and asked me to go there as well. I walked upto the couch in his oversized pajamas and white t-shirt. "They don't fit you at all" he started laughing. "Well of course! It's yours after all you big dummy" and I took the cushion and hit him with it. To protect himself he tried to grab the cushion but mistakenly grabbed my arm and pulled as he laid down, we were on top of each other even before we knew it.
I thought for sure we were going to kiss but got interrupted by the doorbell. "I.... I'll get that" with that I got off and opened the door. Chifuyu was standing there in his pajamas and pillow and cat. We welcomed him in. Chifuyu suggested that we should watch a movie and we agreed. There was a awkward silence between Baji and me for sometime but we got over it because the movie that Chifuyu suggested was so boring that we started talking and played with the cat while Chifuyu concentrated on the movie.
Not long after Chifuyu also gave up on finding something interesting about the movie and we were fast asleep. Well it was a tiring day afterall *yawn*
As I was about to fall asleep, my phone rang. It was Thunder so I picked it up and went to the verandah.
"Yeah what? *yawn*"
"Woke your little ass up. There are men outside Baji's apartment" I looked down the verandah and it was true.
"Seriously? You're asking me to work at this hour?"
"It's not like you or me got a choice"
"Yeah yeah got it. I'll take care of those scums"
"Oh and after that get the blueprint" with that he ended the call even before I could reply. Alright let's get to work!
It is in the fifth floor so if I jump directly I'll die. And if I fight in these pajamas they'll fall of in the middle of the fight!! I don't know why I'm taking like a drunk right now but whatever. I took out the gauntlet from my bag that has string strong enough to carry my weight attached to it. So I tied one end of the string to the balcony and other end to my waist and jumped down. There were 10 men in total. They all were shocked when I appeared out of nowhere. Hehe I love their shocked faces!
"Do me a favor guys don't make noises all right?! It'll be more fun that way *wink*" I said.
"You wanna play baby girl?" One guy asked. Gosh that's so cringy.
I said yes and charged to the first man that's in my reach but the idiot me forgot to untie herself so I swung back and hit my face on the ground. I could hear Thunder's laughter from my earpiece. That fucker! It's embarrassing that's why you should never ask me to work when I'm sleepy.
"Woah easy honey we're not going anywhere no need to rush" another man said and everyone laughed. It's so embarrassing! Whatever let's get this over with. I untied myself and charged for the second time.
They were all down within 5 minutes. "Now laugh you assholes" I said and climbed up using the string. Putting the string inside my bag, I called Thunder and asked him to clean up the mess.
As I was gonna go back to the living room, when I suddenly remembered the blueprint. I tiptoed to the study and successfully took the blueprint out without any trace and put it carefully in my bag. While putting it in I found a cigarette box. As I was doing this Thunder already took the ten unconscious guys in a big truck and left.
I lit one cigarette and was thinking about the things that happened in just a few hours. From Draken to these guys. At least nothing got out of hand that's good news. Come to think of it, it's my first smoke in Japan.
Suddenly a deep voice spoke from behind me asking, "You smoke?" It was Baji's, his voice was deeper than usual maybe because he just woke up.
"Yeah sometimes" I replied, "In my past days in India I used to smoke a lot. I'm trying not to but it's really hard specially on days like these" I chuckled softly. He came and stood beside me and said, "I'll help you get over it" I took the last puff and put out the bud. "Well good luck with that" I said that while exhaling the smoke. We both chucked and then went back to sleep.
*The Next Day*
We went to visit Draken. We entered the ward and found Mikey. After a while Baji had school so he left and Mikey also left us alone.
Draken put his hand on my head.
"Don't go around spouting shit like that. I just got you back for fuck's sake" I'm sure I had a teary expression on my face at that time.
(a/n- referring about that time in ambulance when Draken asked to take care of Mikey)
"Alright alright! I'm sorry don't curse anymore, I'm right here. I'm right here" he hugged me and I hugged him back. We stayed in that position until Takemitchy walked in. I got up and thanked him and then left the hospital because I've to go to the convenience store. And to submit the blueprint by mail.
During my shift at the store, a guy came in to buy bread and gave me a letter rather a small piece of paper with several numbers written on it. Well he was the agent that is incharge of Mrs. Baji, Kayal. And each number combination represent each word that we agents use to communicate. In the letter, I was advised not to mail the blueprint rather to submit it to Mr. X who's a billionaire in Japan and also has connection with our headquarters.
After my shift, Baji and I went for a stroll. As we were walking silently we notice Mikey with a blonde haired guy with glasses, Baji was going to call Mikey but I stopped him and asked him to listen to their conversation first in a low voice. "Are you suggesting we eavesdrop?"
"Yeah"
"Why? That's wrong!" I couldn't answer to that. Maybe it's my experience that's telling me that this guy is upto no good.
"Just do as I say for now please"
"Whatever you say" although being totally against it he stayed quiet.
"Appoint me as the 3rd Division Captain in Toman" said that guy with glasses.
"Huh? And why should I do that?"
"What if I get Pah out of jail?"
"And why should I trust you? You're a Moebius member. Aren't you?"
"Moebius is finished for good and I'm ashamed of what Osanai did so that's why I want to join you. There are many others who wants the same. Don't you want Toman to grow? Don't you care about the well being of Toman? You're the commander afterall" I guessed it right. He's upto no good. He's brainwashing Mikey. He continued, "Only if Toman had more members maybe you're vice-commander wouldn't be in hospital today. Don't you think? It's a win-win situation"
"You're right" No Mikey don't fall right into his trap! "I'll welcome you as the 3rd Division Captain"
