Moving away the bush with her nose. Needleclaw stumbled backwards with a yowl. Harrybrook's body was laying in the bush. He had a sharp piece of bark lodged in his neck. The internal carotid artery had been punctured. Shadowsight examined the wound.
"Go get Leafstar..." Shadowsight said shakily.
Needleclaw and Rootspring ran off towards the entrance. Shadowsight grabbed Harrybrook's scruff and started to pull him into SkyClan's camp. Just then, Shadowsight's head pounded, his own thoughts were replaced with a voice.
"So, you're the young tom that Vera has told me about..." the voice said.
"Who are you, and who is this Vera? I don't know any Veras." Shadowsight replied hastily.
"I'm the one to save your kind. You can call me Rock." the voice named Rock replied. "Vera does not matter to you."
"Get out of my head!" Shadowsight hissed.
"I might, I might not. If I do, I'll be back." Rock meowed.
"Get out!" Shadowsight snarled.
Rock disappeared and Shadowsight came back to reality. He was on the ground next to Harrybrook's body. A group of cats gathered around the two. Rootspring was right next to Shadowsight looking at him with a worried look. Leafstar was laying next to Harrybrook, her last child.
"We must find who did this." she hissed angrily.
