Chapter 1

ALEXIA's POV

"Alexia speaking, how can help you?"

[Goodafternoon young lady, this is Secretary Ong, the chairman wants you to come to the company today]

"Why?" I asked

[I don't know miss, but he asked for your attendance. Please do come right away]

"Alright. Tell him I'll be there in an hour"

[Noted young lady] Then I end up the call

I faced my mirror and glance at myself. Having pair of emerald-green eyes is kinda scary. I inherited it from my mother who I miss the most. I have the same feature as her but I am her fierce version. To hide my eye color, I always wear contacts for safety purposes.

I brushed my blond hair and dry it. I wear a white long sleeve above it a leather jacket, black baggy pants and paired with leather boots. I always wear something boyish or something bigger sizes. It's my kind of taste.

I grab my car key and went straight to the garage. I rode my shining red Mazda MX-5.

When I arrived at the company I gave my keys to the assigned valet. Once I entered the building every person I came across are bowing and greeting me.

I was escorted by Secretary Ong, who is patiently waiting in the lobby.

"Where is he?" I asked him when we arrived at the top floor

"At the meeting room, young lady. Please wait for a while. I will send notice to the chairman" he bowed and then left

I sit comfortably on the large sofa in the waiting room, without bothering the other employees who are seated. They looked scared tho.

I get my phone and start playing some candy crush. Come on, don't tell me you're not playing that crazy game. It's fun.

After a few minutes, everyone inside the meeting room is now heading out.

"Please come inside, young lady"

Like what he said pumasok ako sa loob ng meeting room. The chairman is seating in the middle looking straight at me.

And that man is my father, Alexander Rivera, the chairman and greatest businessman of the Rivera's Group of Company. He calls himself the king without a crown. He is treated as a king and respected as a king.

"What is father?" I asked and seated beside the chair he is seating

"Ong, please head out first" agad naman sumunod ang secretary niya at lumabas nabalik ang attention niya saakin chaka sinandal ang kanyang likod sakaniya swivel chair.

"I call you here today because I have a very important task for you" kumunot ang noo ko ng marinig iyon sakaniya

To be honest hinde na bago saakin ang mga ganitong bagay. He always asked me a favor and ofcourse may kapalit ang paggawako sakaniya ng pabor.

"And what is it?" I asked

"I cannot contact your brother and cannot find his whereabouts. So tomorrow you are going to the Philippines" eh? bukas agad?

Speaking of that devil. I've never seen him since he traveled back to the Philippines 3 months ago.

"And what is it that concerns me all about?" I boringly asked

"You are the one who's gonna find your brother"

Wait— what?! Me? Did I hear it right?

"Do I need to do that? You can just call Finn so he can track him down" I said annoyingly

What is the use of Finn? He knows those kinds of things.

Finn is the most impressive hired hacker in the company. The thing is, it's hard to convince Finn. He is very stubborn and with that, you need to have a deal with him to accept and find what you need. The last time I asked to track someone he said he wanted some vintage wines. Lumipad pa ang pinagutusan ko ng States para lang kumuha ng vintage wines.

He said it is part of his job although he is my cousin. He is also nice slight not because he is childish. Not to mention sometimes he gonna request that you gonna wear a superman suit and dance in front of him. He is crazy!

"He is busy now, may inuutos ako sakaniya kaya diko magagawa yun. And if ma track natin siya ay makakapagtago din ulit siya" He looked straight to me kaya napalunok ako

"So do you agree or not?" He asked

Tumango ako bilang sagot "You can just directly call him. Takot din siya sayo kaya sasagutin niya yun"

"I've tried, even my secretary tried but still no response, no whereabouts, no text, no calls, no nothing! That's why I'm asking you this, bring back your brother here, I need him"

Based on his tone I knew there is something serious about the things they needed to discuss although I curious what it is, it's not my business to meddle.

"Fine, fine. Whatever"

Akmang aalis nako ng may ihabol pa siyang sabahin.

"The plane is ready for tomorrow afternoon. I love you darling and thank you!" He smiled at me

"Watashi mo itoshite iru yo" I replied then walked out of the room and waved goodbye. (I love you too)

-K I N A B U K A S A N-

"Young lady, the car is ready" katok ng kung sino man sa pinto ng kwarto ko

I immediately head downstairs. Ayoko kasi pinaghihintay ang aking Amang masungit.

"Be a good girl there. Don't make rukus okay?" I rolled my eyes

"Yeah right father. I'm gonna try but I can't promise"

He give me a death glare before hugging me.

"Call me when you find Alexius"

"Aye aye, sir"

I sat comfortably in the back seat while we're on our way to the airport.

Now I realize, its been almost years since I revisit that country. I don't expect that much actually. Maybe it is still polluted and corrupt. Not new tho.

The last time I went there is not pleasant and I don't wanna remember at all. That is the worst memory I could remember and it still haunts me. Thank God I overcome that fear through therapy. And here I am going back to the plce wher it all began. My birthplace and her deathplace.

When we finally arrive at the Clark International Airport, I was escorted with alots of personal bodyguards. Ito na nga ba ang sinasabe ko eh. Nagpadala pa talaga si Dad ng bodyguard para lang mag bantay sakin.

Seriously. Di nako bata. I can totally handle myself. Really. When we reach home. The Great Mansion of Rivera located at the mountaintop. I hop on my bed and sleep. Long flights is very tiring. We got alot of work things to do tomorrow for sure.
