" Your's eyes stole all my words away. "

;-) Chapter 2

The chaotic energy of the pub continued to pulse around the three men, who were consumed by their own thoughts and the alcohol clouding their senses. The thumping music, the flashing lights, and the overwhelming noise seemed to drown out everything else, but for one of them, nothing could distract him from his own internal storm.

Taehyung’s gaze remained fixed, not on the lively crowd or his two companions, but on the waitress who had been serving them. His eyes darkened as they followed her every movement with an intensity that matched his anger from earlier. The alcohol only heightened his frustration, making his emotions more volatile. Jimin and J-Hope noticed his stillness but chose to continue their conversation, sensing that whatever was going on with Taehyung was something that would need to be addressed later.

“Taehyung, it's been a decade and you’re still this… brooding,” J-Hope chuckled, a bit tipsy but still maintaining the cheerful facade he always had. "Come on, have some fun. You can be a little less... Taehyung and more 'let loose.'"

Jimin smirked at his friend’s comment, lifting his glass for another drink. “Honestly, we’re here for you. Why don’t you just enjoy the night like we’re supposed to? Forget everything, just for one night.”

But Taehyung remained silent, his focus unwavering as the waitress made her rounds, serving drinks. He was drawn to her energy, the way she moved through the crowd with an ease that almost taunted him. The irritation from earlier—the engagement talk, the disarray of his feelings—was now channeled into something far more primal, his stare sharp, like a predator locking in on its prey.

The waitress didn't notice at first, her back turned as she continued serving drinks to the other tables, but Taehyung's eyes were locked onto her every move. His gaze darkened further when she finally made her way to their table, placing the drinks down with a polite smile that didn’t reach her eyes. She didn't acknowledge him, and Taehyung was too drunk and too lost in his thoughts to care that his presence was unsettling.

"Another round, love," J-Hope asked with a grin, his tone friendly and light, though Taehyung barely registered it. He didn't hear the exchange between the others, his mind solely focused on the waitress as she prepared to leave.

As the girl turned to walk away, he couldn’t stop himself. A smirk crept onto his lips as he leaned back in his chair, watching her retreat, his thoughts becoming clouded with something darker. His eyes never left her until she disappeared behind a group of people, her back turned as she handed the tray to a bartender.

Jimin caught the shift in Taehyung’s demeanor. “Hyung, are you okay?” he asked, his voice tinged with concern. But Taehyung didn’t respond, his focus solely on what was happening around the waitress.

The scene seemed almost unreal as Taehyung stood up suddenly, the alcohol making his movements more erratic. His eyes scanned the room, looking for her. He didn’t know why the intensity in his gaze felt so consuming, but something about her had sparked his anger, and now, that feeling was growing.

The girl made her way into the staff changing room, and without a second thought, Taehyung followed, his movements swift but controlled. He pushed through the crowd, ignoring the loud conversations and the music that seemed to fade into the background of his mind. He could feel his pulse quickening, adrenaline coursing through his veins.
