" I am addicted...to your lips "

;-)Chapter 15.

Taehyung’s eyes never left Jisoo as he made his way through the crowd. Each step he took felt heavier, the tension building inside him. He could feel the heat of his emotions rise with every inch closer he got to her. He had no intention of leaving this party without hearing her answer. He had to know where she stood, what she felt, because all he could think about was her.

Jisoo could sense his approach, but she couldn’t bring herself to look at him. She had already made up her mind about her feelings for him. She liked him—deeply. She had never been more certain about her emotions, but the thought of committing to him, of becoming his girlfriend, filled her with doubt. Taehyung had never been the type to commit, to love someone the way she needed him to. Could he really change for her? Could he love her the way she deserved to be loved?

She turned toward him, but her heart skipped a beat when she saw him talking to someone. His flirtatious tone, the way his eyes flicked to her as if he were teasing her, made her stomach twist. He winked in her direction, and for a moment, Jisoo couldn’t contain her reaction. She quickly turned away, trying to ignore the storm of emotions swirling inside her.

Taehyung excused himself from the conversation, passing the glass of wine to the man he had been talking to, and made his way towards Lisa. He tapped her on the shoulder, muttering something to her, but his eyes were locked on Jisoo once again. His patience was wearing thin, and he could feel his frustration rising as he saw Jisoo deliberately avoiding him.

"Lisa, you're drunk. You should head home. I’ve already called Jungkook to pick you up," Taehyung said, his tone firm but with a hint of concern. He didn’t want Lisa to get hurt, especially not when she had clearly had too much to drink.

Lisa, however, smirked, knowing exactly what he meant. She wasn’t oblivious to his intentions.

"Why bother Jungkook? You’re my boyfriend in everyone’s eyes. What if they see me with your brother?" Lisa teased, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

Taehyung frowned, his brow furrowing. He knew exactly what she was referencing—the earlier interaction with the business partner that had made Lisa uncomfortable. It wasn’t his fault that his parents had already revealed their engagement to the world. But it didn’t matter; he wasn’t going to argue with Lisa right now.

"Lisa, you're drunk," he repeated, though his gaze was once again drawn to Jisoo. She was standing in the distance, seemingly lost in her thoughts, and clearly avoiding his presence. He could feel the weight of her indifference like a heavy stone pressing down on his chest.

"About Jisoo," Lisa said, catching his attention. "I guess you’re doing all of this just to cling to her. So, you like her, don’t you?"

Taehyung’s expression softened at her words. The question wasn’t new; Lisa had asked him the same thing weeks ago, but back then, he hadn’t been sure. Now, however, there was no doubt in his mind.

"I do, Lisa. I like her. I don’t know how it happened, but I’ve fallen for her. And I can’t stop thinking about her," Taehyung confessed, his voice steady but filled with an undeniable intensity.

Lisa smiled, knowing he was being genuine. She could see right through him—Taehyung had always been the tough guy, but she knew the soft boy inside hadn’t changed. He was still the same, and his feelings for Jisoo were real. That was all she needed to hear.
