               ~~SANGHEE'S POV~~

He just left.
The man with the scar, that is... the one they call "August D."

Me and the woman just stood there, awestruck. I could sense she was very realized to see her abusive husband dead; yet at the same time she seems completely fearful of August D.

However, I was... confused.
Didn't he... help us??
He saved us both?
But he killed a man.

Can you be a heartless monster yet a hero at the same time? I'm not sure...
But after parting ways with the woman and finding my way deeper into town, I continued to contemplate this idea.

I mean... even Sumi warned me about him; so he must really be as bad as everyone says, right?

To my surprise, as I walk further down the streets, what looks like a large market comes into view. The population increases by a large amount, and the space opens up into a large town square. It seems like heaven compared to the other nasty sights I have encountered here...

I curiously walk around, peering at the strange foods and trinkets at the stalls. People walk around, trying to either steal, buy, or bargain.

I notice two familiar faces in the crowd, and my eyes quickly light up.

It's Sumi! And Jimin!

I immediately recognize the handsome male right away, as he tries on a thick black jacket, asking the salesperson the exact price.

Sumi notices me, too, and a smile cracks on her lips as I approach.

"Hey," I smile, sliding up beside her and Jimin.

"You're still alive," Sumi winks, and then inspects the jacket now placed on her brother, "Jimin-sshi, don't you think it's a little expensive?"

He shakes his head, "No. The material is perfect. I can buy it right now without a loan, too."

When Jimin turns around, a toothy smile appears on his pink lips once our eyes meet, "Ah it's---Sanghee, right?! You're alive!"

"Yeah," I grin, "Thanks to your sister... I would have frozen to death in that nasty dress, otherwise."

Sumi blushes shyly, causing Jimin to roll his eyes, "She doesn't take compliments very well, Sanghee."

When Jimin continues bargaining for a price, I pull Sumi aside.

"I need to ask you something," I say seriously, causing her eyes to widen.

"Are you okay?" she asks, "Did anyone hurt you...?"

I slowly shake my head, "No... not exactly... you said August D was bad, right? Like really bad?"
