Y/N's P.O.V

You walk through the very small, very old-looking noodle shop with Jisoo by your side. The moment you step in the smell of noodles and meat fills your nose, calming your nerves and making you suddenly very hungry.

You turn to Jisoo with a smile "Let's order, the boys might be a while" you say and she nods, agreeing with you. With your arms linked together, you walk into the small shop and claim a four-seat table in the middle.

A young-looking girl walks over, a large smile on her face "Welcome" she greets, placing two menu's on the table "How may I start you with?" she asks. Pulling out a small notepad along with a pen.

Both you and Jisoo look down at the menu's in your hands "We're waiting for our friends, but we'll order now." she says, looking at you and you agree with a nod. "I'll like two large bowls of Japchae," she says.

You look down at the menu "I'll take two bowls of tteokbokki along with a basket of bread. And four glasses of water" You smile, handing the menu to the lady. She smiles taking both menus before walking away to get your order.

Sighing you lean back in your seat, the stress of school causing a bit of muscle pain "Did you hear about Choi Miyoung?"Jisoo asks.

You frown, Choi Miyoung is a half Korean, half Chinese student that went to your school. She uses her beauty to charm the male students while she uses her popularity to torment the females. Luckily you and Jisoo were a few females that never crossed her path, so you were safe from her torments.

But rumour went that she drove one female student to commit suicide last year.

A few weeks back she disappeared from school, so everyone thought she transferred or just dropped out. "No," you say "What happened?" You ask. The waiter returns with a tray of drinks. Placing the cups full of water down, she smiles before returning to the kitchen.

You grab your cup "Apparently her body was found just last night." Jisoo whispers "It was floating in the river. Her body torn to shreds, bruising all over her body, torn muscles and even broken bones." she made sure to keep her voice low.

You felt sick at Jisoo's words "Oh my god"you whisper "Do they know what kind of animal attacked her?" you ask, taking a sip of your water.

Jisoo shook her head "That's the thing, they believe it wasn't the act of an animal, but a human instead" the doors open causing you both to look as Mark and Lucas stroll in like they own the place. "They go on to describe that she was tormented like an animal, almost like she was hunted." Goosebumps cover your skin as you and Jisoo stare at one another.

Miyoung might have been an evil girl, but she did not deserve to die that way. The fact that someone did such a horrendous thing to a young girl made you feel sick. The seat next to you squeaked as Lucas claims it for himself "Sorry we're late, we were dumped by two girls" he sighs.

"Yeah, they left us behind, how could they be so cruel" Mark agrees, claiming a seat next to Jisoo.

Jisoo raises a brow "Keep talking and they might just do it again" she threatens. You laugh at the hurt expression that crosses Mark's face.

"What were you lovely ladies chatting about, while we took our slow time?" Lucas asks, changing the subject to save what little hope Mark has.

You and Jisoo share a gloomy look as the waitress arrives with the food "Here you go, I hope you enjoy" she smiles before walking back to the counter to chat with a fellow worker of hers. "We were talking about the body of Choi Miyoung being discovered last night" you confess.

You mix the cheesy sauce around the bowl, making sure to coat the rice cakes with their gooey deliciousness. "Oh, I heard about that. I feel so bad for her" Mark says. Poking his noodles with a fork "I can't believe she died like that."

Although she may have been a bully, she didn't deserve to die such a horrific death. You shook your head and lean down deciding to toss it to the back of your mind and focus on your food. "It seems like the death mansion did it again" the waitress whispers, catching your attention.

You look in her direction, she was leaning close to her colleague but she wasn't whispering low enough "That high-school girl marks how many now?" her eyes are wide with fear.

"Yejun, calm down it's not the mansion. It's the work of filth who call themselves humans" her colleague sighs, placing a hand on her shoulder "Now continue your work, or the boss will have a fit" with that the woman left, leaving Yejun alone.

Turning back to your meal, you make eye contact with Mark. Both of you overheard the conversation and the small smile on his lips told you he was interested. Raising a hand Mark called over Yejun "Hello miss" he politely greets her as she reaches our table.

"How may I help?" she asks cheerily.

"I couldn't help but overhear your conversation just a moment ago. I'm sorry if it seems rude, but could you tell us about this mansion you mentioned?" Mark asks politely.

You were surprised, if you told people that Mark use to be a delinquent that ran the school his way and cursed at everyone, no one would believe you. The Mark before you is a completely different person. And you felt a small sense of pride for your friend Jisoo who happens to be the cause of its change.

"Oh," Yejun says, startled by the question. "Um," she looks away nervously. A sigh left her "Alright, but it's just a rumour, somewhere on the outskirts of Seoul city is a large forest that is said to be home to a mansion. The mansion appeared out of nowhere some years ago, and ever since then teenagers have gone missing for weeks before their bodies turned up beaten and bruised." She begins to explain.

"If that's the case, why haven't the police investigated the mansion?" Lucas asks, you just listen to them, the food is far too good to stop munching on.

"Well, for starters they did search for it, after all, all the teenagers disappeared after saying they were going to search for it, but the police couldn't find it. Most people believed the mansion was never even there. That's where its nickname, the Ghost Mansion came from." Yejun finishes.

"Rumours spread all the time. The longer a rumour is spread the bigger the rumour gets. It's proven in kpop idols as well as actors just how deadly one small rumour can be." The older lady comes over "Word of advice, don't search for it, you'll only be falling for a trap set by someone who is clearly behind these murders." With that, she walks away, dragging Yejun with her.

You stare at one another, the only sound is you slurping up your spicy cheese sauce mix. A smile spreads across Lucas and Mark's faces and Jisoo frowns, you flinch as you realize what thoughts are going through his head.

"Mark.....Lucas....no," you say slowly.

If only they listened, maybe your lives wouldn't turn upside down.....
