MY name is athena, birthday 09-12-1992 i was born and raised in the tennessee on a farm, i had left my home state to attend college in west virginia, am an only child but am not spoiled, i stand 5’4, am not fat nor skinny, i am curvy with blue eyes. I have two amazing flatmates around my age named sara and britney, this is my story on how i met my amazing husband kim namjoon

I was bored at lunch strolling on facebook, liking and sharing cute posts with my friend and family, all while thinking what i wanted to get to eat before heading into work tonight or just get something to eat at working during my break, knowing i wouldn't have time to go home and cook before having to be at work and i had a 30 minute drive ahead of me right after my final class at 3 pm. when my flatmates Sara and Britney came up and sat down next to me snapping me out of my food thoughts 

‘hey how did your class go since you had a substitute’  

‘uuuuuggggg’

‘that good huh’

‘It's not that, I'm bored.’

‘oh’

‘yep’

‘well, since that's the case, there's a new app called HELLOTALK, you can chat and post with korea, japan and china’

‘oh’ i said intrigued

‘yep, i started using it 2 months ago, i've made a number of friends while learning new languages 

‘aaaaaaand it's called HELLOTALK’

‘yep’

I took my phone out thinking ‘well why the hell not’ as i went to google play and typed in HELLOTALK, downloading it. it took me 10 minutes to set up my account i. i posted a small message introducing myself as well as a few pictures i had taken during the past week and then wanted to post a picture of me and my 2 flatmates,who were like sisters to me

‘hey come closer i want to take a selfie of us 3 and post it pleeeeeease’

‘sure’ they say at the same time, we love taking selfies with each other, even more so since cell phones have evolved as they have in the last few years. I took a really cute selfie of us and posted it. I put my phone away and we started chatting about things we were going to do for this summer once classes were over. Once I was done with my final class of the day, I hopped in my car and headed to work. 5 Hrs later, I got home later than normal because I had to cover a shift at work for someone. I took a shower. and watch a movie with sara and britney, after the movie i went to my room and plopped myself onto my bed, grabbing my phone i clicked on the new app i had downloaded earlier in the day, when i looked at the notifications within the app it said i had new messages, comments and likes on the pictures i had posted earlier in the day, so I started to go through the messages, one message caught my eye more than anything……...

M.O.D.: Those are beautiful pictures that you posted, i was also intrigued by your bio, I too am new to HELLOTALK. I see you want to learn korean. Maybe I can help in my spare time, let's be friends

i smiled at the message, i was wondering if i should message back or not but i did

ME: thank you, i am wanting To learn Korean and meet new people, my flatmate introduced me to this app, she has been using it for 2 months now, i don't see no harm in being friends, my name is athena and you?
