"captain!" haru busted through the door, some rain water dripping into m/n's room. he blankly looked over, letting him continue. "we got a problem. sea king's, everywhere."

m/n hummed before grabbing his angel blades off the wall and running outside to the deck. shielding his eyes from the rain. his heart raced slightly, but he was just more than excited to fight them. maybe have their cook take one for a few of their meals.

"sakusei-"

"got it captain." she said, without him needing to say anything.

he smiled and turned to terepōto, "tere-"

"already on it!" he put his hands together before pulling them apart. two portals opened up, on in front and another in front of the sea king that looked like a giant snake.

m/n stepped through. his feet touching air immediately, once fully stepping through, sakusei caught him with her devil fruit. m/n trusted his crew with his entire life.

he began to run, the giant snake staring at him. eyes calculating the captain's move, but wasn't expecting him to run directly in front of the sea king. he pulled out his angel blades, seeing the sea king opening it's mouth, ready to eat the captain.

a smirk pulled on the male's lips.

he jumped in the air, his boot kicking off one of the many sharp teeth in his vision. flipping in the air as he stab the sea king with his right angel blade. swinging himself on his angel blade before propelling him upwards, the angel blade pulling out of the see king's skin. a roar of pain could be heard from the sea king. m/n did another flip, landing a bit on the nose of the sea king.

he sat down, staring at the sea king as the sea king stared back at him. he clicked his tongue, "maybe we can eat you?" he questioned out loud.

the sea king eyes widened, something familiar about the look this male was giving him. m/n whistled, standing up. stretching as he tossed his right angel blade in the air. tadeo flew and caught it, making himself bigger and he went through one eye. making himself smaller as he fully went through the sea king's eye, coming out of its socket.

m/n stabbed the other eye. once more the sea king roared in agony.

"tadeo, let's go!" m/n said, "it's haru's turn!"

the hawk flew out of the socket, m/n ran off, jumping as tadeo extended his claws to a much bigger size and flying upwards. they looked down to see haru biting both of his gloves off, electricity pulsing around. he pushed his hands forward and lines of electricity hit the sea king, you could see the smoke and the outline of the sea kings inside through the rain.

"drop me." m/n said.

so tadeo did, sakusei caught him in the air. he was now in front of the sea king that was like a whale with arms.

"hope you put more of a fight." m/n said.

but he squatted, back flipping in the air. electricity barely missing his nose. m/n's face began to glow from the yellow light, and he looked thrilled. m/n wanted to reach out and touch the electricity, that's just how beautiful it was. but he composed himself as he landed behind the last bit of lightning.

that sea king fell down easily. a frown creasing the captain's lips. he turned to haru, his frown in a pout. the co-captain rolled his eyes.

"you were taking to long." haru said through his clenched teeth around his gloves.

"i just wanted to have fun. things have been boring lately."

"i can help with fun!"

m/n's eyes widened as he turn to see the crew mate who loves to clean. his platinum blonde hair was in a long ponytail, his eyes hooded a bit from loose strands. his hair used to be shaved.

"shadow! get back in your room! we don't know when the sun will show, you don't have your shadow!"

m/n began to run to him. he couldn't bare to lose a crew mate, he would never forgive himself.

"come on, captain. no clouds and only rain? my type of weather. besides, you need my fast fast devil fruit to beat this last sea king."

m/n sighed, knowing he was stubborn. so he nodded.

m/n on the right of the sea king, shadow on the left. their movements in sync as the ran past each other, curving a bit as the both squatted, each looking in one eye. jumping in the air.

m/n lifted his hand as terepōto dropped his samurai sword. m/n began to spin the air. shadow pointed his hands at him, pushing them forward as a yellow beam touched m/n, making his movements 50 times faster for about 1 minute.

his samurai blade cutting easily through the skin, shadow ran to the neck of the sea king. seeing m/n done cutting over there as he began to run fast to where shadow was. finally slowing down to his normal speed. he threw the samurai in the air as it disappeared back into his barrel.

he gave one angel blade to shadow, both having the same exact thought. they jumped completely off the sea king, stabbing the sharpest part of the angel blade into the neck as they slid down. once reaching past the middle part of the sea kings neck, they put their feet on the skin and pushed off.

yubi easily catching them with her extended sticky fingers. pulling them both onto the ship. terepōto teleported half of the sea king into the kitchen, their cook would be pleased at what they caught.

the dark sky had a slight drizzle now. m/n was huffing, he had hoped there was more to the battle. but they didn't put much of a fight up. at least the had dinner prepared for the next few weeks.

"alright shadow," m/n began, "get back into your room before the sun comes out."

"yes sir, captain." shadow saluted and turned to go back to his room.

but as he was walking, the sun peeked out from the moving clouds. m/n gasped as he ran.

"shadow! the sun's showing!"

but the sun began to touch his arm, but as soon as a part of it touched shadow's skin, m/n tackled him to make sure he was covered, hoping it worked.

"and then," m/n sat on the table, eyes smiling. that same girl who had grabbed m/n's coat grabbed his hands, holding his booze as well. zoro pushed himself off the wall, but was held back, he look a bit behind him to see one of robin's hands. his eyes widened at what he just did, so he leaned back to the wall. every crew member -except luffy- saw his action, but said nothing. he faced m/n again, seeing him lift his hands up to finish his booze. some of the booze dripping down his chest, zoro not able to take his eyes off the little trail. barely listening to the male. "the most amazing thing happened." m/n carried on, grabbing shadow, pulling him onto the table where he was standing above m/n, "this bastard got his shadow back in time."

"how'd he lose his shadow in the first place?" luffy asked.

m/n jumped off the table, putting his cup on the table. stretching, "another story for another time."

"all you need to know right now is that i lost a bet." shadow said.

then, m/n began walking towards the straw hats on the wall. seeing them saying something to zoro, a flustered expression came over his face. m/n raised a brow and stopped when he was next to them.

"what are you guys talking about?"

zoro jumped a bit. face slightly red.

~crew mate 16 shadow: he has the fast fast devil fruit, a yellow beam that can make you way faster than before for a full minute. his df can counter foxy's df.
