before m/n reached the straw hats:

"what made you push off the wall?" nami asked.

"no reason." zoro grumbled, crossing his arms.

"so you don't like the shark captain?" sanji asked, "i was sure you did. after all, you disappear a lot when we cross paths with them-"

"and you knew what type of hawk he had right off the bat." nami said, "it's suspicious."

zoro's ears burned red a bit, he coughed a bit. "i have no interest in him."

"if that's the case, then you wouldn't mind sanji and i setting you up." nami grinned, "there were a few girls who weren't interested in m/n, perfect for you."

his cheeks were now a noticeable red, that's what m/n saw as he was walking over.

"what?!" zoro said, "no way!"

"i think it's a great idea." robin said, "you've been irritated lately."

"no!" zoro protested.

"what are you guys talking about?" m/n finally asked, stopping next to them. he narrowed his eyes at zoro's red face.

"we were just talking about what this island might be called." zoro quickly said.

m/n narrowed his eyes, "this is pirate island. only people allowed are pirates or people who love pirates. they attack marines. but for all people know it's an unmapped island. my mother actually discovered this place and told me about it when i was younger." he licked the inside of his cheek, eyes casted down, this was the first time i mentioned my mother since zoro asked three years into knowing each other. "but i know that's not what you were talking about." he looked at zoro.

"it was nothing." zoro said.

m/n hummed but saw zoro's bandages. "you know, i can have hīra heal you up. i know you hate moving in bandages."

"captain m/n, i would advise zoro keeps his bandages on, after all-" but m/n cut chopper off.

"i understand, doctor. but what if something happens and you need zoro at his full strength? don't even worry about it, my doctor can take care of anything in a split second." before zoro could mutter a word, m/n turned, scanning for their healer. "hīra!" he shouted, she perked up from his voice, walking over when he pointed towards zoro.

when she came over, she slowly put her hands on zoro's chest. her hands glowing green, then zoro's upper body began to glow green. their eyes widened quickly. except for zoro, since m/n had told him her devil fruit power.

m/n leaned slightly closer when zoro began to take his bandages off, but was then pulled out of his fantasy.

that same female who grabbed his coat and his hands latched onto his arm suddenly. this caused m/n to stumble, putting his free hand on the wall to keep himself up right. his hand landing next to zoro's face, and zoro blushed mildly. he shook his head when m/n pulled his hand away and snapped his head to his arm.

"oh, m/n!" she practically gasped, you could smell the alcohol on her lips. "dance with me! your musician has some good taste!"

"i hope so, it's ongaku's power." m/n tried shrugging her off, but her grip was strong, "i don't usually dance."

"oh, pretty please!" she batted her eyes, "it would make me the happiest."

i just wanted to see zoro shirtless.

"i think you should." brook said, "you are the star."

"yeah!" franky laughed, "it's a wonderful idea. i'm going to dance as well."
