No response, so i decide to take a walk to the consession stand and buy a bottle of water and sit down on the grass scrolling through instagram.
It was getting late, and he still hadn't texted me, so I was getting pretty upset that he stood me up. Maybe this was part of Carla's plan? What did she do to him so he didn't show up? I decide that I'm being pretty rediculous so i just walk home. My parents car wasn't there and just as I notice I got a text from my mom:going out for the night, we'll be home around 2... have fun with Alex!
-hi mom, Alex didn't show up so I'm heading home. Love u see ya in the morning

What the heck is so smile face worthy about this situation?
I'm starting to get really upset now, so I unlock the door l, grab a granola bar and head up to my room. What I see inside is the sweetest thing ever.
