Hello to anyone who does read this or the book. In this chapter I'll be telling you about background information and even lines Newt says about you in the Maze Runner books and movies.
1. Why I "killed" you off (w/ more backstory of the events in this book.)
You might be upset that you, the reader, the Y/N, the MAIN CHARACTER, died before you were even in the Maze Runner books or movie. So, here's my reasoning. I'm bad at scripted things (I guess) and I felt sad when I made all these events because you know what happens with Newt sooner or later. In this book I wanted to build people's "aws" and "Newttie my beloved" comments (tho no one commented so far...) then BAM, depression. I did this because I was moved by Newt's speech in the movie since I couldn't finish the book series sadly. I wanted to make my own version as to why he did this which is explained in the last chapter.
Also, this fanfic wasn't supposed to be published meaning I actually had a fake substitute name which was "Koemi". The name meant "small smile" which really ties in with how you/she died while smiling towards Newt. haha
2. What's (Name)'s real code name?
No one really asked this and I'm pretty sure you know it by now. In lore text, (Name) first was assigned with the code name "The Inventor" until technical difficulties happened and was changed to "The Wrecker"
I first had her second name as "The Destroyer" but I was lazy and didn't want to write a longer story than needed due to lack of wholesome events. The reason why she has a second name is because I didn't like how much her code name meshed with Newt's since he's "The Glue" and "The Inventor" fits in his category way too much.
3. Is (Name) alive?
Hell yes. You're the main character in this story so yes. You girl bossed your way outta there with some help. Not Luka. Luka died from the grivers while trying to save you. My oc (Koemi) doesn't survive since I planned her to just die when she's snatched. It'll stick with the original plot of no person surviving in the maze over night.
And that leads to my other questions that people might add if anyone does read this bad book.
4. Will there be a second book?
Maybe. I have this thing where I get bored of things easily. It won't be too long before I get bored of the grivers and Wicked. So, there's a possibility that there will be since I have so many ideas for it.
