Chapter 5

I just get out of the shower and finish blow drying my hair. I put on a floral skirt with a white shirt and white converse. Basic but super cute, just his type. I curl my hair and put on a simple coat of foundation and concealer. Then a light coat or eyeliner, and finally, two coats of mascara.
--2 hours later--
The doorbell rings and my nerves kick in. "Im kinda nervous." I tell Cody.
"Awe, butterflies?" He asked.
"Yeah, I think." I reply.
"Just remember to be yourself and don't worry sis, he really likes you and your beautiful. He will treat you right. " Cody assures me.
"Awe thanks." I say hugging Cody and running up to my room while he answers the door. "Hey man." Cam says walking in the house shaking Cody's hand.
"Hey . Now listen , Mae is an amazing girl. And she's my little sister, just keep that in mind. She's my everything. She's beautiful and I don't know what I'd do without her. Be good to her. I've been there for her with many breakups and they were all bad. She didn't talk or move for like 2 weeks. And if yall date and break up, I don't want to ruin things between our friendship. So be good to her man please." Cody says surprisingly calm.
"You have nothing to worry about ."Cameron says.
"Now where is that beautiful little girl at". He asks referring to me and my shortness.
"Right here." I say walking down the stairs. His draw dropped.
I walk up to him and close his mouth befor saying, " careful , you might catch flies." And look at him. He laughs and then speaks. "Wow." Is all he could manage to say. "Is it that bad ? " I asked.
"Bad? You look absolutely gorgeous Mae." Cameron says. I blush. "Thank you cam. You look very handsome. " I smirk. He was wearing a blue Hollister shirt with kackies. "Thanks." He giggles.
Awe that was so cute. He is adorable. And I'm really falling for him.
We walk to the car and just sit and talk the whole way. I look over at cam and he is staring at me. "What?" I ask as nicely as possible . "You just look so.. Wow." He reassured me. I blush. " awe." After another 5 minutes in the car re pull into the parking lot of the restaurant. My favorite restaurant. How did he know? I never told him and he never told me we were going here. "T-bone Grill, home of the steak and all other meats." Cameron says giggling while opening my door and allowing me out. "Thanks." I thank him.
We sit at the table and we order our food. " I'll take the Cesar salad with buffalo steak please. " I ask the waitress.
"And for you?" The lady ask Cam.
"Um I think I'll take the same." He smirks at me before collecting our menus and handing them to the lady. "Okay coming right up." She says before leaving . We talk and enjoy our food . " be careful with this plate it's still hot. " the lady warns Cameron.
"Shit!" He yells after touching the plate.
"She told you it was hot !" I whisper yell to him. "I forgot." He tells me.

-- After dinner--
"Thank you so much for tonight Cam. I had an amazing night and I loved it." Even though we planed on seeing a movie, we just sat by the old drive in and talked. "I'm glad you had a good time." He says grabbing  my hands. "You deserve it." He smiles. I smile back. And sooner than I thought, our lips crash into each other's. He makes it sweet and simple. But I liked it. That was amazing.
"Enjoy the rest of your night Maelynn." Cameron says releasing my hands before walking to his car. "Goodnight Cameron." I say. "Goodnight Maelynn ".
I walk inside as quickly and quietly as I can. It is like 10:30 pm And my parents are usually asleep by now. I walk I my room to find a note on my bed. It read..

Awe he's adorable. I smiled at that note. I change into some pjs and walk to jacks room. He's passed out. I cover him up and kiss his cheek. "Goodnight Jack , I love you too, sweet dreams." I whisper. I turn off his light and go back to my room. He it terrified of the dark so he sleeps with it on and one of us usually turns it off. I check my phone and see I already have 10

To Nash : great thanks for asking. But I'm really tired , I'll talk to you later okay.

To Cameron:
I'm awake but soon not to be. Listen, thank you so much for tonight. I really enjoyed myself. I hope we can hamg out tomorrow?😆 well message me in the morning . Good night Cam.
After that.. I fell into a deep sleep.

When I woke up there was a note on the counter saying my mom had an unexpected business trip to attend to and she would be gone for a week so we could find a friends house to stay at. Well considering I have like 5 friends I have options. Only problem.. There all guys.
After I told Cody the plan he said he would stay at Cameron's and I could go to if he was there. So I agreed. Then Cody called Cam to make sure it was ok.
--phone call--
Cameron: hello?
Cody- hey cam my mom is out of town for the week and she wants us to find a place to stay . Would it be cool if we could stay with you.?
Cameron- yeah sure . But who do you mean by we?
Cody- me, and Maelynn. Jack is staying at day care with his friends for the week so he's taken care of.
Cameron- oh okay. Come over when you want.
Cody- okay we will be on our way in 5.
Cameron- okay cool. See you then.
Then they hung up.
"Soo , how was your night?" Cody asks.
"It was amazing." I say light blushing.
"Ooo Mae Mae has a crushhhhh!" Cody exaggerated.
"Yeah I think I do. But don't tell him. I don't know if he feels the same." I told him. Which was a complete lie. I know he likes me, I think. Otherwise he wouldn't have wanted to take me on a date , right?

Cameron pulls me to the side ..
"I know we just met but you are beyond gorgeous and I can't let anyone else have this chance befor me. Maelynn, will you go on a date with me this Saturday ? " Cameron's asks.

That day was perfect.
"MAELYNN! I hear Cody yell from upstairs.
"What!?" I scream back.
" come pack we are going to Cameron's!"
"Shut up! It takes me like 5 minutes to pack unlike you!"I yell walking up the stairs.
5 minutes later..
"Come on Cody!" I yell.
"I'm right here." He says walking out of the kitchen.
"That's all your taking?" Cody says looking at my bag.
"Yeah, If anything we can always come back." I assure Cody.
"True."
-- Skips car ride.--
We arrive to Cameron's and knock on the door .
" hey guys. Come on in." Cameron welcomes us.
"Hey babe". He whispers to me as I walk past. I feel the heat start to form on my cheeks.
"Hey." I reply blushing.
"I'm hungry I'm going to find something to eat in your fridge." Cody tell Cameron.
"Uh sure okay ." Cameron says laughing. He pulls my on his lap. "I missed you. So much." Cameron's tells me.
"I missed you to." I blush again.
"Awe is someone blushing?" He says picking on me.
"No. Pshh me ? Blush? Nah." I try to hide.
"Awe don't worry babe , I think it's cute."
He just likes seeing me get embarrassed.
"Hey no PDA! Expessally with my sister and with me in the room!"Cody tells Cameron.
"Your just jealous you can't have a relationship like this" Cameron tells cody.
Relationship?! Whatttt?! This is starting to go good already.
-LATER THAT NIGHT-
"I only have one extra room." Cameron says. "Maelynn you can sleep on the couch I'll take the room." Cody laughs at me. "Or you can sleep with me." Cameron tries to whisper but fails.
"Or the couch.." Cody says again.
"I think I'll choose." I tell Cameron and Cody. Mostly Cody. Cause it's obvious what I'm going to choose.
"Goodnight beautiful." Cameron says while cuddling me and kissing my cheek.
"Goodnight sexy." I giggle kissing Cameron's cheek. Then he did something so unexpected. He turned his head so I was not only kissing his cheek but his lips. That little kiss, just turned to a heated make out session.
