Lauren's PoV.

I feel safer than I have in a long time. My eyes are closed and I can feel the sun beating down on my face.

But I'll never be entirely safe. None of us will and deep down inside that scares me.

In order to keep Camila and the girls safe, I have only one option. Turning myself into the police. I mean it's the only way possible that we can stop running away from everything.

I'm scared to lose Camila.

I lay for what seems like hours but is just merely minutes. Beside me Ally is painting her toe nails a bright pink color.

Dinah, Normani, and Camz are singing loudly and splashing each other in the water.

They all look so happy and I can't bare to see them upset or hurt.

Beside me Ally speaks softly. "You've been awfully quiet today."

I shrug my shoulder and continue to stare at Camila.

"What's on your mind?" Ally questions before capping the nail polish and blowing on her freshly painted toes.

"Just how much I love you guys and how everything is working out so perfectly." I lie so easily to the older girl. It feels unnatural but I can't tell her the truth, at least not now.

Ally smiles and places a hand on my shoulder. "Y'know we love you too, especially Camila." I smile at the older girl.

"So how do you think my toes look?" Ally giggles while wiggling her toes around. I laugh and brush a hair from my face.

"Actually that pink isn't that bad looking. Do you mind painting mine?" I ask. Ally looks a bit shocked but takes the opportunity before I change my mind.

I fall asleep while Ally paints my toes and am fully aware how silly I'll look later. I feel a shadow cast over me and Camila is just staring at me and laughing.

"Who knew grunge Lauren would ever have pink toe nails." Dinah snickers while Normani falls to the sand laughing.

I blush. "They look cute though," Ally chimes in before crossing her arms. Ally sits and pouts, sticking out her bottom lip.

"I love them Ally, the girls are just jealous because their nails aren't pink." I smile at Ally and stick my tongue out the others.

"Hey, I kinda want pink nails," Normani says quietly. Ally smiles and Normani takes a seat beside her allowing the smaller girl to paint.

Dinah plops down on the blanket and sighs loudly before closing her dark brown eyes.

I look at Camila and give her a look saying I need to talk to her. She seems to understand and takes off down by the water. I brush the tan sand off my legs and arms before making my way to the younger girl.

When I finally reach her, she's staring out at the setting sun with her arms crossed. I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her in close.

"Let's take a walk," I whisper in her hand before tugging on one of her hands. She follows obediently.

"You've been very quiet recently." she states without looking in my direction.
I rub the back of my neck feeling the sweat starting to build up there already.

I hesitate before speaking, "I've just been thinking a lot Camz."

"But Camila, what I need to tell you is really important and you have to listen, please."

Camila's PoV.

Lauren called me Camila which she almost never does unless it's really important. Suddenly I'm scared, why did she bring me on this walk?

"Lauren, what's going on?" I manage to squeak.

I look at Lauren and there's a single tear forming in her eye. She never cries, what if she's breaking up with me?

"I-I don't know if I can stay here with you and the girls." she stutters.

"What do you mean?" And now I feel tears forming in my eyes. "Are you breaking up with me?"

And with that question comes the saddest look I've ever seen on the face of Lauren Jauregui.
