Oliver Koopa: My Backstory (Self Insert Backstory)

Chapter 14

Me and the Koopa family were resting on the raft. The shine from the town was sparkling again. I was just staring at the light from the town, it was so mesmerizing. In a very long time, I never thought I would make good power dynamics with anyone, apart from my own parents and old friends, who are dead at this point. 

I turned and saw Bowser Jr. looking at the water, he was looking really sad and lonely. He just looked down at the water, not even batting an eye at me or his own dad. I stood up and walked to Junior, hoping I wasn't disrupting his quiet time. I gathered my courage and said: "H-hey, Junior? I just wanted to say... I'm sorry about the entire vacation being ruined. I just wanted to keep you and your dad safe... but I failed.... but unfortunately-" I was immediately cut off by Junior saying: "Your friendship with Mario was ruined all thanks to me. I know, Oliver." I was quite surprised. I didn't even know how much courage he gathered to say that. He really didn't ruin my friendship with Mario. "You know... When I first met you, I thought you hated Mario. I now know you never knew him at the beginning and never saw the rivalry. Papa never told you everything. You just didn't realize when we got you." Junior kept looking at the water without any emotion. "Maybe some day I will become like you, always tell everyone all of the good deeds I have done to protect all of the people I love and be the hero. I'm not going to be a hero like Papa." He told me as he went from looking at the water to actually looking at me. "Tell me, Oliver. Should I give up growing big and stop saving people?" He asked looking at me. "Actually, Junior. Saving people and growing big won't stop you from being a good hero. You are your own hero. When you get older you'll realize you're the hero everyone will love!" I tell him with encouragement. 

Junior looked at me with surprise, and went back to looking at the water and said " Sorry, Oliver. I'm not cut out for that." With great sadness. I turned around and saw Bowser. He saw me trying to encourage Junior into becoming a hero like his dad and Mario. Junior finally knew what he had to say next when someone tried to cheer him up. 

Bowser was feeling guilty for lying to his own son about Peach being Junior's Mom and Cullen being Junior's brother. Bowser had enough and looked at Bowser Jr. with very much bravery as a dad. "Junior I got something... difficult... I have to tell you about Princess Peach-" he was also cut off by Junior with him saying "I know... She's not really My Mama... and Cullen's not really my brother..." Bowser was surprised and started having tears, but not happy ones. I softly touch Bowser's arm in comfort and patted his arm. "Someday.. when I'm bigger..." Junior continued as me and Bowser watched and listened. I was astonished. Bowser Jr. turned to us and continued. "I want to fight that Old Robot Man again!" Even though I thought the old man was dead at this point during the whole pool fiasco. "That's my boy! Well put, son!" Bowser cheered. "On wow, Junior! That's actually really good of you for not giving up!" I say in excitement, with a wink and thumbs up. "The royal Koopa line is as strong as ever! But for now... let's just rest awhile." Bowser says as he smiled at his boy, who being able to be stronger. 

I sat down next to Bowser. I stared at the ground and was acting really nervous. There was a feeling I never let go. It was a romantic feeling I had for someone I knew for days. My romantic feelings for King Bowser never let go. I was thinking of the things I wanted to say to him when I had the chance to. 

I got up, once again, facing the King. I clearned my throat and took a deep breath. "Bowser, sir. There's something I've been meaning to say to you since I met you." I tell him. He then turned to me, waiting for me say what I wanted to tell him. I did a nervous blush.  "I sincerely apologize from Peach constantly rejecting you, but my feelings for you are way stronger than hers. She may not want to be the love in your life, but..." I slowly walk up to him in a nervous but loving manner. I took a deep breath and let it all out. I went ahead and instantly kissed Bowser on the cheek. His face cheek didn't taste all that bad, it tasted soft and sweet, which is how I like it. After I kissed him, I blushed lightly. "I will be your man in your life.." I said in a shy but sweet manner.
