Detective O has been assigned to a new case.
The detective sighs and says "Can't they find another detective to do this? I should have took the break they offered me, and now I have to unravel another mystery. Although I do love my job but it gets tiring from time to time. Well I mean I am one of the best detectives out there so it would make sense they chose me for this, since they said this is a hard case..."

A knock on the door. "Who is it?" The detective says.

"Uh,it's me, Kyle? I have the files you asked for." Says the intern as he waits for the detectives reply.

"Oh, it's you, come in!" Says the detective. The intern walks in and hands the files to the detective.

"What case are we working on this time?" Says the intern looking at the case file.

"This case doesn't make any sense! In all of my years of work I have never encountered something this ridiculous" Yells the detective in frustration.

"Huh? What do you mean, sir?" The intern asks.

"The case we have is that six people went missing, six people went missing two weeks ago, the six were friends and last seen at a dock to go fishing, but never came back. And all we have to go off of is a journal written by one of them, and what's written in this, just seems like a fictional horror story!" Says the detective in an angry tone.

The detective sighs "Sorry I shouldn't have raised my voice."

"It's fine, sir. But are you ok? You seem to be quite stressed out..." The intern asks as he looked worried.

"Im fine, I'm just tired but thank you for your concern. But although to be clear I wasn't overreacting about our case, it really doesn't make any sense. No wonder why this case has been passed to me." Says the detective.

"Can you read it out loud? Maybe there's a clue that you missed or overlooked?" Asks the intern.

"But I don't mean that you would have overlooked something, it's just in case if you missed something by accident." The intern says in a panicky tone, worried if he had offended the detective.

The detective chuckles and says "Don't worry I'm not offended, ok? And there's nothing wrong if you say that since you do have a point there. I may have missed something important... And there's no harm if we double check."

The intern sighs in relief.

The detective then proceeds to read the journal.
