The Tradition

Chapter 10

They all went in a building which seems to be abondoned.

"What are we going to do now?" says Francis.

"If you guys didn't argue, Tyler would still be alive!" says Avery.

"Wow, this is the first time I actually see you care about Tyler." says Mike.

"Ofcourse I care about him, he's our friend. Even if he makes me mad, and he's a absolute idiot. I still do care about that dummy." says Avery.

"It sounds like your still insulting him. But I do agree with you, even if he was a bit of a Bully, and wreckless with his actions, and it was kinda his fault he died since he argued with the kid. He is still our friend." says Luke.

Andrew then says, "Both of you guys are sending mixed messages, anyways we need to think of a plan to get out of here. And first we need to get the gasoline, so who's going to get it?"

None of them wanted to volunteer to get the fuel, so they decided to vote. The person who got the most votes was Mike.

Mike says, "Seriously guys?! Why me? Why not Luke?"

Andrew then says, "First of all, this is revenge for stealing my hair dye. Second of all, Avery will kill me if anything happens to Luke, and Luke will do the same if something happens to Avery. And lastly, it can't be Francis because he is scared of everything and there's a chance he will leave without the fuel. Probably because he would hear a sound and thinks its the monster but it was just a squirell. Just like what happened when we told him to buy us chips for the hang out."

Francis gasps and says, "Hey! That only happened once!"

Mike sighs. And he proceeds to go to the gas station carefully, as he arrives at the gas station he saw nobody near at the time so he began collecting the fuel needed for the boat.

While he's getting fuel, he feels like somebody is watching him, then from behind him.

"Boo!" says Tyler.

Mike screams, "Ahh! Wait Tyler? I thought you're dead, I saw you got stabbed!"

Tyler then says, "I am! I'm a ghost, after I haunted the kid and made him cry, I got bored. So I decided to go haunt and scare more people. And then I saw you running to the gas station and decided to scare you."

"Even death can't stop you from being really annoying, and bothering me all the time. You're gonna keep doing this, aren't you?" says Mike.

"Yep, as long as I'm a ghost and you're not, I will continue. But that won't last for long." says Tyler.

"What do you mean?" asks Mike.

"Well, when you screamed the monster heard you, so see you soon" Tyler says as he sees the monster behind Mike.

The monster stabs Mike, and Mike says, "I hate you, Tyler."

"Uhm, Andrew? I'm pretty sure he's dead now, since it's been twenty minutes now, and it shouldnt take that long to get fuel. And we did hear screaming earlier, he's either dead or about to be dead." says Luke.

Andrew sighs and says, "I have a plan, me and Francis will go to the gas station, while I get the fuel Francis will stand guard outside. While you two go to a building near the gas station, we can't hide in the motel since it's too risky. If you guys see any monster or people, flash the flashlight a couple times. And Francis if you see a flashing light tell me and we will go back to them"

"Couldn't you have thought about this, earlier? If you did there's a good chance that Mike would still be alive." says Avery.

Andrew replies, "It's too late now, the damage has been done, don't worry about who will drive the boat I can do it. I have some experience on driving a boat before. So did all of you understa- Francis what are you doing?"

Francis says, "Oh yeah I understand the plan, I was just writing in my journal on what's going on, since this will be an awesome story to tell to my cousins!"

Luke was worried and says, "Aren't your cousins six or seven years old? And there is a possibility we won't be able to escape."

Francis says, "Hey, don't worry. We will escape, just think positive! And my cousins will be fine, they will be able to handle it! My dad told me scary stories when I was six, and look at me I turned out fine."

"I agree with the think positive part but with the scary story part, no. Francis you are literally scared of everything." says Andrew.

"I am not afraid of- Ahh!" Francis hears a loud thud and screams.

"What was that?" Francis asks.

"Chill! I just dropped the flashlight." says Luke.

They begin the plan, Luke and Avery went off to a building that was near the gas station, while Francis and Andrew sneaks to the gas station. Andrew was getting the fuel while Francis was at the door on look out. While Luke and Avery kept watch to see if the monster or people were nearby. Avery sees somebody going to the gas station, Avery tells Luke, and Luke start flickering the flashlight. Francis sees the flickering light and tells Andrew they need to go. Andrew finishes getting the fuel and runs to the building where Luke and Avery was at.

They arrive at the building, as they arrive Francis trips and falls.

"Let me help you get up."

"Ow, thanks Andrew." says Francis

Andrew, Luke, and Avery stared at each other then to Francis.

Andrew says, "That's not me or Luke and Avery."

Francis realizes and screams.

"They are here! They are in this building!"

The four of them ran but got surrounded by the towns people. Then Andrew gets killed by the monster and the monster leaves. Then they see the old man with rolled up sleeves, his left arm has a big scar and the old man says, "The tradition will live on! The monster is no longer hunting, lock those three up until the monster comes out again."
