★ Always edit your story
Put it through some kind of editor, either a free online one or Microsoft word to show that you are invested in your story.
★ Read through your story
Make sure it makes sense.
★ Ask for feedback
It's super helpful and makes you grow as a writer.
★ Be able to take and handle criticism
Yes, there are people on here who thrive on hurting others, but there are also many writers who want to see people grow with their writing skills.
★ Don't be scared to write an original story
If it's nothing similar to what you've seen before, why not write it? I am not talking about depraved or horrible themed stories, but ones that aren't cliche.
★ Don't harass other writers
It doesn't get you anywhere and more likely, people will find out. Writers speak to each other about other writers and who to avoid. Please treat others how you want to be treated.
