When Shriya woke up she felt a ringing pain in her head. She closed her eyes and waited for the pain to subside.

She then slowly opened her eyes, feeling around she found the bed stand and switched on the lamp light.

She was stunned at her surroundings, the room she woke up in was not her bedroom.

She did not remember having such a room in her house either.

She felt another wave of pain in her head. She once again waited for the pain to subside.

As the pain numbed she felt the memories rushing into her brain.

She gasped out in shock when she realised that this body did not belong to her.

The memories she received were not hers.

She felt like the earth was slipping away from under her feet. How could she be in such a situation.

Was this the legendary transmigration. She had read about this phenomenon from the Chinese novels that she found online.

For her this whole situation was surreal. When it was fiction she could understand it but experiencing it in real life was a different thing altogether.

But what made her bewildered was that she could not make out what kind of world she had transmigrated to.

All things she could gather from this body's memories was that she was a teenager, studying in a boarding school which was the property of the orphanage she had grown up in.

There were no other clues in the memories. But what caught her attention was that this body was also an orphan like her and also had the same name as her.

What kind of fate was god playing with her, she thought so in her heart.
