Anadil couldn't take it anymore as she watched Hester quick a dead rabbit out of her path instead of jumping over it.

She didn't care what the Storian did, wrote, or drew. She wanted answers.

Abruptly, Anadil jumped on Hester, pinning her down to the floor as Dot gasped. "Anadil! Get off  me!" Hester hissed, her eyes flaring. "Then tell me what's wrong with you!" Anadil hissed back.

The two girls glared into each other's eyes, neither wanting to surrender.

"Hey hey, let's just settle down here..." Dot cooed gently.

"NO!" Hester and Anadil both yelled, their voices combining into one big scream.

Then they both glued their eyes back together. "I don't want to hurt you. Get off before I do." Hester snapped.

"Neither do I! So spit before I make you!" Anadil shot back.

"Not until I have my personal distance!" Hester spat.

"You think I'm an idiot?! Never!" Anadil growled.

"Jokes on you because I could just yank you off me by the neck and slam you against a tree with ease. So entertaining." Hester sneered.

"Yeah right." Anadil said as rolling her eyes.

"I would. Because I'm a careless Villain." Hester said, her face darkening evilly.

Anadil's heart stopped.

That was not Hester.

Anadil leaned in close to Hester's face, close enough that their chests were touching and they could feel eachother's heartbeats. Hester's breath on her face, Anadil's breath on hers.

"You're not Hester."

"What-"

"I said, you are not Hester."

Hester gaped at her, Dot too.

"Anadil what are you talking about? I'm literally righ-"

"What's my nickname? From first year? What is it?!"

"I-"

Silence.

Anadil's eyes widened. "You...don't know?" She said quietly. The witch just stared at her coldly.

"When was the last time I washed my hair?" Anadil asked, narrowing her eyes.

Hester was quiet again.

"What was our quest?"

"..."

"Who are the two people you hate the most in this world?"

"Our Villain and-"

"WRONG! It's Tedros and Sophie!" Anadil gasped.

She immediately scrambled off of the stranger and backed away, close to Dot who was as petrified as her.

The witch sat up, smirking evilly.

"Well done. You got me." She cackled. "Watch out world! You guys are next."

Then she was gone as quick as a blink of an eye.

Anadil and Dot had just lost their leader to who knows what. Clearly, Hester was gone—somewhere.

"Kidnapped?" Dot squeaked, now under Anadil's command.

"Maybe...but Hester isn't that stupid. I bet it has something to do with the Villain, specifically the shadow." Anadil said.
