*What one hell of a day. So apparently some myths are true. Tomioka huh,.... Whatever I'll decide whether to tell the dudes in the morning. Although they won't believe me until I have evidence so I'll just push off telling them for now.*

*I hate that fucking alarm. It turned on at the wrong time again, things probably broken. I'll get a new one once I get my paycheck. Whatever what time is it? 8? Really? Shit my hangouts at 2. Whatever I call in for an early shift today then.*

"Ugh." He groans.

Sanemi goes to the bathroom to do his usual and comes out of the shower with his hair wet and a towel around his waist. Genya had already headed out for the day. Sanemi puts on boxers and throws the towel that was around his waist, around his neck and under his hair. He walks around his room and scans around for his phone. After finding it he calls his boss and asks to have the morning shift for the day. His boss told him that there was a shift available to help in the back. It would also include a higher pay for the work. Sanemi often calls in at random times if his plans get cancelled or, for instance, like today, where he wakes up early. Ubayashiki, his boss, is fine with it and always excepts the extra help. After Sanemi finishes the call he grabs his uniform from the closet and puts it next to him on the counter of the bathroom as he proceeds to dry his hair. With his short hair, drying it only takes 20 minutes and when he finished he put on his uniform.

He walks out of his room and heads to the kitchen hoping to see his mom. But she isn't there, which is unusual and puts Sanemi a tiny bit on edge. He ponders and thinks where else she could be. After slight thinking he heads to go check her and his siblings room. Arriving in front of the door he opens it.

'Errr.' The door creeks open slightly, not all the way. With the Sun shinning in the room he finds his mom sitting up in the big mattress placed on the floor, as she pets Koto, another one of Sanemi's younger brother's, on his head. Upon hearing the door open she turns her head towards it and looks up as Sanemi leans on the door frame, smiling upon the sight.

"Yes sweetie?" Shizu asks.

"Hey, you weren't in the kitchen."

"Oh, I slept in a little late and woke up to this one craving attention haha." A smile plasters her face.

"Right, I was just going to tell you that I'm going to work a morning shift, hence the uniform I'm wearing." Sanemi explains.

"Ok then, thank you for telling me, be safe!" Shizu tells her son.

But another question pops up in her mind,

"Oh! Are you going to head back here or head out somewhere else?" She ponders.

"Oh yeah, forgot to tell you, but I'm going to hang out with some friends for a while." Sanemi explains. "I might be back by 6-7, depends on how much fun I have haha." Sanemi adds, "But I'll be back to change clothes."

"Right, you have a good time then, come here." She beckons to Sanemi. She encourages him to come to her with her hand as he bends down and she kisses his forehead. "Stay safe Sanemi. And work hard!"

And so he heads to the door and finds his shoes and puts them on as he grabs his car keys and his spare home keys and heads out the door, making sure to lock it.

Opening the door and starting the car as he heads to work. His shift being from 10-1:15, as he checks the time to make sure that he's on time. It reads 9:02. It usually takes him 20 minutes to head to work so he decides to stop at the beach to take a quick stroll. Arriving at the beach it reads 9:20. He parks his car, takes off his shoes, and heads off to the sand. It's a sunny day and there's a slight breeze. His hair blows slightly with the calming breeze. The weather is not to hot, but not too cold either. Just enough heat from the Sun as the breeze cools him down slightly.

He looks over to the ocean and succumbs to thoughts about yesterday, and the merman he saved.

*Wonder what the fish is doing, who knows, he said there's a whole crap ton of them down there wherever. Doesn't matter anyways...

Sanemi checks his watch.

*Shit, I have to go to work.*

As Sanemi puts on his shoes again and heads into his car he leaves his thoughts behind and drives to work.
